In a statement, Suzuki Philippines, Inc. Motorcycle Marketing Manager Nenuka Guba said, “By showcasing the Burgman Street in this manner, it solidifies the fact that the Burgman Street is a very important product to Suzuki Philippines.”
According to Abot-Kamay ng mga may Kapansanan ang Pag-unlad ng Pasigueño (AKKAPP) PWD Federation member Ricky Delgado, the goal of the clean-up ride is to show the public that the riding community and Suzuki are both committed to a holistic approach to environmental protection.
Suzuki Burgman Street Elite Riders Laguna Chapter Co-Founder and Team Leader Jaz Tan stated that they used social media channels, such as Facebook, to invite as many people as possible to this worthwhile activity. “I am delighted with the number of participants. I want to thank them all and Suzuki Philippines for giving us the opportunity to join this event,” she said.
Lifestyle on Wheels writer Alex Alo supported Tan's statement, detailing how the bikers cleaned up Rave Forest and suggesting that Suzuki continue the project.
Burgman Street owners were surprisingly unanimous in their appreciation for the scooter, which they described as "the best in its segment" and "perfect for work, leisure travel, and long rides."
Motovlogger Telly Buhay of Turbanrider shared, “I have a knee problem that makes mobility challenging for me. Burgman is perfect because of its spacious floorboard and step-through features. I am very satisfied with this scooter’s performance that I use it every day!”
The Burgman's fuel efficiency, according to Manila Chapter Co-admin Arius Franco and Malabon Chapter Admin Officer Cocz Marcelo, provides good value and greater mileage per liter. The large floorboard provides additional cargo space for Franco's deliveries.
The Burgman Street is powered by a 125-cc single-cylinder, SOHC, two-valve engine that can get up to 53.50 km/L. It has enough power for daily city rides, and its smooth CVT automatic transmission makes riding so simple that it only needs a simple wrist twist to operate.
Burgman Street produces 8.58 hp and 10.2 Nm of torque. The air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi) engine is efficient and simple enough for daily routine around the city while staying smooth and easy to run. All of these for only P78,900.
“The Burgman also offers a comfortable ride. It’s like sitting on a sofa. For me, Burgman is packed with relevant features,” Marcelo said.
The Burgman, according to Motoph.com, The Monitor Mindanao Today, and Pilipino Star Ngayon writer Gilbert Chao, is one of the motorcycles with best acceleration in its segment. He also commended the scooter's size, which ensures the rider's safety. He said, “In my opinion, Burgman provides better road presence [because of its size>. The more noticeable you are on the road, the safer you are from other motorists.”
According to Buhay, the one-day clean-up activity proved that riding is not just about leisure or cross-region travel; it also reflects the community's environmental duties through projects like this.
“Promoting environmental awareness is an integral part of Suzuki Philippines’ corporate social responsibility,” Guba added. “We can start fixing the problems that threaten our ecosystem by teaching the community, our riders, and friends that the physical environment is fragile and indispensable. As stewards of the environment, we encourage everyone to participate in the change and teach our community what is needed to create a sustainable future.”
