The Lego Technic BMW M 1000 RR features a working gearbox and suspension

MANILA: BMW Motorrad and the Lego Group revealed the Lego Technic BMW M 1000 RR (also known as M RR), a detailed 1:5 scale model of BMW M’s first superbike. 

The Lego Technic BMW M RR will be available in Lego stores and website starting 2022, with a price of US$230 (around P11,000). 

Composed of 1,920 individual pieces, the Lego BMW M RR features a functioning three-speed gearbox, and upside down fork and rear swingarm with suspension.

More functional pieces include the dashboard with three different display options, and the gold-colored drive chain. The included paddock wheel stand and pit board also provide authentic racing flair.

The Lego BMW M RR scale model measures 10.9-inches high, 17.9-inches long, and 6.7-inches wide. 

The M 1000 RR is powered by a 999cc, four-cylinder, water-cooled engine that generates 200hp. According to BMW Motorrad, the M 1000 RR can sprint from zero to 100kph in 3.1 seconds, and has a top speed of over 189mph (304kph).
