Vespa launched five new models in the Philippines, include GTS and Carbon editions
The five new Vespa scooters are launched in the country by the official distributor, Moto Italia. The new models are GTS Touring, GTS SuperSport, GTS SuperTech, Vespa S Carbon and Vespa Sprint Carbon. Let's have a look at their specs-sheets.
The GTS model of Vespa has always been one of the most beloved two-wheelers in the world which have taken inspiration from legendary ‘vespone’. Its arrival is marked with the GT 125 and 200 with automatic transmission in 2003, which evolved further with GTS 250 version backed by a 300 cc engine.
After this, i-GET powerplant with 125 and 150 cc engine capacity came on the board and recently in 2019, the entire range was upgraded with high performance, comfort and style specs.
All three new Vespa models in the palette come with a color TFT display that facilitates connectivity to a smartphone with the VESPA MIA system. The offered engine options are 150 cc i-Get, 300 cc Quasar, and the new 300 cc HPE (only for the top of the line GTS SuperTech).
The high-performance engine comes with the potential to deliver power in excess of 23 hp, which is considered as the most powerful engine to date.
Next on the list is Vespa S Carbon, which comes with more styling appointments. Black Vulcano and White Innocenza are the two color choices that are paired with outstanding carbon-look details including black crest underlinings and red S stickers on the rims. It will be available with a 125cc engine.
And last, on the list, Vespa Sprint Carbon comes with a full steel body and revolutionary carbon-look appointments characterized by the sporty stickers. The model features advanced technology specs which include i-GET engine, ABS (Anti Lock Braking System), Immobilizer, USB port for easy charging of smartphones and electronic devices.
It is offered in two versions- 125 cc and 155 cc and two color choices- Black Vulcano and White Innocenza. The model is meant for achieving the maximum levels of efficiency, stability, handling, and comfort.
