The offerings under Loncin's sub-brand are being distributed by Eastworld Motor Industries Corporation.Based on the invitation, Eastworld Motor Industries Corporation (who is also Motorstar's exclusive distributor in the country) said that the upcoming offerings will make its official introduction on Saturday (January 11).
While no details have been shared as of posting, here are the forthcoming motorcycles’ possible specifications from Loncin’s premium sub-brand as seen in other markets.
DSX900 specifications
Expected to compete with the likes of the BMW F 850 GS and Yamaha Tracer 9 GT, the latest contender in the country’s adventure motorcycle division said to be “built for exploration.”
The Voge DSX900 measures 2,325 millimeters (mm) long; 940 mm wide; and 1,420 mm tall with a 1,580-mm wheelbase and an 825-mm saddle height. It carries a 17-liter tank and sits on 90/90-21 front and 150/70-17 rear tires.
Its chassis is made up of high-strength steel tubes and is fitted with 43-mm Kayaba inverted fully adjustable shocks and at the front and mono-shock rear suspension set-up.
The Voge DSX900’s lighting systems are all on LED (head, fog, and taillamps).
Propelling the adventure motorcycle is the four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder, double overhead cam (DOHC), liquid-cooled, 895-cubic centimeter (cc) engine that can deliver a peak of 94 horsepower (hp) and 95 Newton-meters (Nm). It is mated to a six-speed transmission.
Per Voge Cyprus, the motorcycle can reach a maximum speed of 210 kilometers per hour (kph) and sip 20 kilometers per liter (kpl).
Its stopping power is guaranteed by Brembo disc brakes, Bosch anti-lock braking system (ABS), and a disconnectable traction control.
Among its nifty features are the keyless ignition system, seven-inch digital display with Bluetooth connectivity linked to a dashcam, and heated grips.
The Cyprus-retailed Voge DSX900 is priced at around (9,795 Euros (approximately P592,000).
CU525 specifications
Meanwhile, the Voge CU525 is a stylish cruiser that will compete with the likes of the Honda Rebel 500 and Yamaha Bolt R Spec — among others.
The upcoming two-wheeler measures 2,225 mm in length, 845 mm in width, and 1,105 mm in height — with a 1,480-mm wheelbase and 710-mm seat height. Its fuel tank can hold up to 15 liters of gasoline.
Additionally, the Voge CU525 wears 16-inch tires.
The motorcycle is powered by a twin cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled, 494-cc engine that can deliver up to 53 horses and 51 Nm. Similar to the DSX900, the Vogue CU525 is also mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Guaranteeing the stops and decelerations are the disc brakes with dual channel ABS and traction control.
Its notable features include ergonomic seats, rounded colored digital display, and LED lighting.
The Voge CU525’s retail price in Malaysia is RM29,888 (around P388,000).
