The Ford Everest is a mid-size three-row ladder-on-frame SUV, which is currently in its third-generation version that was introduced globally in 2022.
Exclusively manufactured in Thailand for the world, the third-generation Ford Everest shares its T6 platform and powertrain options with the previously available second-generation model. However, with an all-new exterior and a much fresher and revamped interior, the third-gen Everest is considered a brand-new product.
In the Philippines car market, the third-generation Ford Everest is available in four variants – Trend 4x2, Sport 4x2, Titanium+ 4x2 and Titanium+ 4x4.
Pricing and Variants
The Ford Everest range in the Philippines starts at PHP 1.829 million for the base-spec Trend 4x2 variant, while the mid-spec Sport variant retails at PHP 2.139 million. Talking about the higher-spec variants, while the Titanium+ 4x2 variant is priced at PHP 2.259 million, the Titanium+ 4x4 variant with all the bells and whistles sits at PHP 2.555 million.

Ford Everest Interior & Features
The Ford Everest has an all-black theme for the cabin as standard, with all the variants getting a mix of leather and synthetic leather for the upholstery. While the second-row seats have a 60:40 split feature, the third-row seats have 50:50 split foldability and feature power-folding.
The Everest has a modern-looking cabin with large full-TFT screens for the instrument console and infotainment system, the latter of which has a portrait-styled design and is flanked by vertically-aligned AC vents with gloss black surrounds. The Everest also has a tilt-and-telescopic-adjustable multi-functional steering wheel, while having faux marble-like finish for the trim across the dashboard and door panels.

Features and Technology
For its segment, the Ford Everest is one of the most loaded SUVs when it comes to comfort and convenience features on offer. On the outside, the Ford Everest gets Matrix LED headlamps in the Titanium+ 4x4 variant, while the others get multi-reflector LED headlamps.
The exterior features common in all the variants are LED DRLs at the front, LED tail lamps, electrically-adjustable and foldable rearview mirrors with integrated turn indicators, side steps, roof rails and front and rear tow hooks.
Coming to the exclusive exterior features, the Trend variant misses out on rain-sensing wipers and powered tailgate that are available in other variants. Meanwhile, the zone lighting, puddle lamps and panoramic moonroof is exclusively available in the Titanium+ 4x2 and 4x4 variants.
Coming to the interior, the Ford Everest gets features like keyless entry with push button start, leather upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an 8-speaker audio system as standard across all the variants.
The base-spec Trend variant gets basics like manual day/night inside rearview mirror, single-zone manual AC, 12V power outlets in first and second rows and boot compartment, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and dual USB ports in first row.
The Sport and Titanium+ variants further get auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, additional 12V power outlet in third row, 8-way power-adjustable co-driver’s seat, windscreen-mounted USB port and dual USB ports in second row as well.
The top-spec Titanium+ 4x4 variant gets a 12-inch full-TFT instrument console and power-folding third-row seats, while the other variants get a smaller 10-inch full-TFT instrument console. While the Trend and Sport variants have a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the Titanium+ variants have a larger 12-inch screen for the same, along with additional features like 230V inverter in rear console and ambient lighting.

Boot Space and Storage
The Ford Everest is a three-row SUV that offers good space levels in all three rows, though the third-row seats can be cumbersome for taller people during long-distance road trips. While Everest claims a decent boot space of 259 litres with the third-row seats up, this space is expandable up to 898 litres after folding down the third-row seats.
The cabin of the Ford Everest also shows its practical side with several cup holders in all the three rows, bottle holders and map pockets in the door panels and two-stage glove box.

Everest Exterior
Like its predecessor, the third-generation Ford Everest is an authoritative-looking SUV, with plenty of road presence and a tall stance that gives it an intimidating personality. The aggressive-looking wide grille has a thick chrome slat running in the middle, which extends towards the C-shaped LED headlamps that have LED DRLs on their outer edges.
From the side, the Everest looks tall and butch, with the 20-inch alloy wheels offered in the Trend and Titanium+ variants elevating its stance even more. With muscular wheel arches and roof rails in its side profile, the Everest has a premium-looking rear profile that has wide C-shaped LED combination tail lamps that are connected by a thick transparent slat that reads out the SUV’s name.
The Sport variant of the Everest features a gloss black theme for the grille, skid plate inserts for the lights, alloy wheels, badges, roof rails, door handles and rearview mirrors, while the Titanium+ variants get a chrome or satin silver treatment for the same.

The new third-generation Ford Everest shares its 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine options with the previous-generation model of the SUV. The 4x2 variants of the Everest get the single-turbo version of the 2.0-litre diesel engine, which churns out 170 PS of maximum power and 405 Nm of maximum torque output. Meanwhile, the top-spec Titanium+ 4x4 variant gets the bi-turbo version of the same 2.0-litre diesel engine, claiming 210 PS of maximum power and 500 Nm of maximum torque.
The transmission options are also retained from the previous-generation Everest and are different for the 4x2 and 4x4 variants – a 6-speed automatic transmission for the 4x2 variants and a 10-speed automatic transmission for the range-topping 4x4 variant. Like before, both the engines impress with their bottom-end grunt and strong mid-range, though the single-turbo version could have had a better grunt at higher RPMs.
