Recent Updates of Veloster Turbo
The Veloster Turbo is one of the few cars in Hyundai’s lineup that is made to set your heart racing. But it does that without compromising on practicality. While the appeal of a 2-door 4-seater hatchback or even a hot hatchback is questionable in the Philippines, Hyundai decided to launch the second generation of the Veloster here early last year. Along with a sportier design, this also gets a modern driver-focused interior.
Under the hood is a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 204 PS and 270 Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and front wheel drive. Over the years the Veloster has gotten pricier for something that already has limited appeal in a market like the Philippines. But for its price, it is one of the most fun yet practical car you can buy today.
