Limited passenger space and legroom
Jeep Renegade is the first subcompact SUV offered by Jeep. It comes with traditional Jeep features like open-air driving via its removable sunroofs. It has the average off-roading ability and a striking design. But it is full of flaws and shortcomings. The ride is choppy, and the front seats are very uncomfortable. It takes time to downshift, and the engine sounds raspy and feels underpowered. Its cargo space is also not as good as its rivals. It has the perfect balance of on-the-pavement agility and off-roading capabilities. The nine-speed automatic transmission is very clunky.
