BMW M 1000 RR Review 2024

The German bikemaker, BMW Motorrad, has recently increased the number of sports bikes and adventure motorbikes it offers in the Philippine market.

The BMW M 1000 RR, a brand-new, high-performance sports bike, was introduced in 2021. While sharing a platform with the S 1000 RR, the M 1000 RR has a number of improvements over the S 1000 RR, including a more potent engine, a reduced weight, and better aerodynamics. The M 1000 RR has undergone a number of significant alterations, one of which is the use of carbon fibre in the bike's construction, which has significantly decreased the weight of the vehicle.

BMW's Dynamic Traction Control, a fast shifter, and several riding modes are just a few of the cutting-edge innovations included in the BMW M 1000 RR. A full-color TFT display on the bike gives riders all the information they require while they are on the road. The BMW M 1000 RR retails for Php 2,995,000 and is available from a few BMW Motorrad shops.

BMW M 1000 RR Design

The BMW M 1000 RR features a modern, sporty appearance. It has a white backdrop and a distinct M colour scheme with accents in blue and red. On the fuel tank and fairing of the motorcycle, the M emblem is clearly featured. The bike's twin LED headlamps are housed in a sleek, angular fairing that is located at the front of the machine. As you approach the bike's flanks, you'll see the M logo on the fairing and the elegant lines that enhance its aerodynamics. The fuel tank of the motorcycle features a characteristic form that tapers towards the rider, allowing for a secure and comfortable riding position.

The bike's turn signals and LED tail lights are located in a sharp, angular tail portion at the back. In the Philippine market, the BMW M 1000 RR is offered in two colour options: M Sport and Race Red.

M 1000 RR Mileage Running Cost

With a 16.5-litre fuel tank and ratings of 6.7 km/l in the city and 9.1 km/l on the highway, it might not be the finest vehicle for long-distance travelling. However because of its high performance, the bike is likely to be appealing to riders who value speed and agility over fuel economy.

BMW M 1000 RR Ride & Handling

Riders benefit from the greatest control and agility the BMW M 1000 RR offers on the road. Riders may alter the settings of the bike to suit their own riding style and preferences thanks to the front and rear suspensions' complete adjustability. The bike's lightweight design, cutting-edge chassis, and suspension system enable simple turning into turns and swift direction changes. Moreover, in both dry and rainy situations, the 17-inch cast aluminium wheels and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres deliver superb grip and handling.

M 1000 RR Engine & Fuel Consumption

A high-performance sports bike built for maximum speed and agility is the BMW M 1000 RR. A 999cc inline-four engine with 205 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque powers it. Based on the S 1000 RR's engine, the new parts include lighter titanium connecting rods and intake apertures that have been machined to improve airflow.

Riders can rapidly and easily change gears with the M 1000 RR's 6-speed manual transmission. In order to improve acceleration and overall performance, the bike also has a rapid shifter, which enables riders to change gears without engaging the clutch. A veritable powerhouse in terms of on-road performance is the BMW M 1000 RR. One of the quickest bikes on the road, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 299 km/h.

BMW M 1000 RR Braking & Safety

BMW's Race ABS is also included for optimal stability and control during severe braking, complementing the twin 320mm discs with four-piston callipers up front and the single 220mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the back. The BMW M 1000 RR also has a number of cutting-edge safety measures that are intended to keep riders secure and in control while driving. The bike has a top-performing sports bike that is safe and simple to ride thanks to its innovative braking system, Dynamic Traction Control, quick shifter, and LED lighting system.
