The BMW S1000R may not appeal to people who are concerned mainly about spec sheet numbers, but for discerning riders, it is one of the best super naked bikes. While it may appear to give up power to its competition and lack fancy gear, this motorcycle is far from average. Its inline-four engine may not have the impressive appeal of other designs, and the brake calipers may leave much to be desired, but these are minor flaws in otherwise perfect performance. With its combination of road-worthy sensibility and cutting-edge performance, the S1000 demonstrates its excellent capabilities.
