The no-nonsense finesse on two wheels
I do have the Honda Beat Premium edition, and for an entry level scooter, it feels very sorted in terms of overall mechanical finesse. First of all is the slim and sharp design, which is fairly convenient to ride for me as well as my daughter too. It feels feather light to turn and move as well as sure footed around corners as well. The 110cc engine with which the Honda Beat is fitted feels decent enough to fulfil my average city commutes. However, while the Honda Beat covers the basic aspects like a part digital instrument console, idling stop system and key shutter mechanism, the presence of modern features like an LED headlamp and fully digital meters would have been great. Also, at 11 litres, the under seat storage compartment is too small to house a helmet too.
