    Honda CB110 Review 2024

When we talk about entry-level budget bikes, sporty design, powerful performance and hassle-free handling are some of the factors that a user has to compromise with. But to offer something extraordinary in the segment, Honda came up with the CB110, which is a blend of style and power. The CB110 has raised the standard of the segment by offering sporty looks, efficient engine and easy handling at an affordable price. All these factors make Honda CB100 a popular bike in the country and the Japanese automaker is making all the necessary efforts in a timely manner to maintain its lead in the segment.

    Honda CB110 Design

Undoubtedly, CB110 is the most stylish and impressive bikes in the 110cc segment. By introducing CB110, Honda changed the philosophy that an entry-level budget commuter cannot be stylish. Introduced with a tagline ‘Wake up to a dream’, the CB110 design cues are inspired by CB1000R and this makes the bike stand out of the crowd. At the front, the headlamp is placed with a smart looking, edgy fairing while the turn indicators are placed in two pods separately. The sporty touch at the front is granted by a matte looking small black visor. Considering the instrument panel, it is equally sporty to complement the overall profile of the bike. The panel is a combination of digital and analog meters, which is dominated by the big speedometer and a fuel gauge. Though the fuel tank is small, it looks muscular and further improving the muscular look of the bike are the side floating cowls. Honda has put special attention on each detail and even the rear view mirrors of the bike display a unique design language that adds to the aggressiveness of the bike.

    CB110 Engine & Fuel Consumption

Powering the Honda CB110 is a 4-stroke, SOHC, Air-Cooled, 110cc engine which delivers 6.41 kW of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 8.97 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel by a 4-speed manual transmission. Further coupled to the engine is the TICS (Twin Ignition Control System), which ensures optimum fuel efficiency and engine speed. The Japanese manufacturer claims that CB110 delivers a fuel efficiency of 78.7 kmpl but as this figure is obtained under ideal condition, a user should not get disappointed by expecting the same mileage. In real world, the bike is capable of delivering a mileage ranging between 65-70 kmpl, which is decent in the segment. The improved fuel efficiency makes this bike favorable for long rides and with the refined engine, the overall riding experience becomes pleasant. The gear shifting is optimum too. Clocking the 60 kmph mark from naught takes just 6.7 seconds. A rider can get to a speed mark of 100 kmph without getting any alarming vibes from the engine. The deployment of viscous-paper air filter increases the servicing time period, resulting in lower maintenance cost.

    Honda CB110 Braking & Safety

For effective braking, the CB110 is equipped with hydraulic ventilated disc brake at the front and mechanical leading-trailing drum brake at the rear. To absorb bumps and glides of the road swiftly, the front features telescopic hydraulic shock absorber while at the rear, a rectangular box type swing arm is present. This set also gives the flexibility of sharp cornering to the rider and enhance the overall ride quality. The seat height of 749mm and not-so-wide handlebar of the bike makes it a perfect companion for a wide range of riders. The 1,257mm wheelbase of the bike results in easy maneuvering, making it a hassle free ride for anyone. The involvement of a rigid twin pipe frame and the V-shaped alloy wheels further makes the bike more stable and smooth on different kind of roads.
