Click 125i Pros & Cons
Get the better insight and helps to buy or notWith premium features like full LED headlamps, tail lamps and daytime running lamps, a futuristic-looking full digital instrument console and an advanced version of the key shutter mechanism, the Honda Click 125i feels modern and edgy. This will surely appeal to the riders of the younger generation.
The Honda Click 125i is powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 125cc engine, with which 11.1PS of maximum power output and 10.8 Nm of peak torque, makes the Honda Click 125i one of the most powerful and refined scooters in its class.
Despite its sleek and sharp body profile, the Honda Click 125i boasts of a very capacious under-seat storage space of 18-litre. This space is good enough to accommodate a full-face helmet.
The Honda Click 125i has been bestowed with a very striking and sharp design language, which make it attractive when viewed head-on. However, with very bulbous and large front design and contrasting looking sleek rear end, the final outcome of the overall design feels a bit disproportionate
The slim tires of the Honda Click 125i do try to make the handling of the scooter very easy and rider-friendly. However, they tend to lose grip sometimes during quick directional changes, and at the same time, they do not go well with the overall muscular appeal of the scooter
The small footboard ahead the rider’s seat of the Honda Click 125i do make the riding ergonomics of taller riders a bit cramped for longer commutes

How many variants are there in the Honda Click 125i?
One of the most successful scooters from Honda in the Philippines, the Click 125 is primarily available in two variants – Standard and Special Edition. Both these variants come with different sets of colour options each, that are exclusive to them, while getting similar colour options and mechanical components.
How much is the price of the Honda Click 125i in the Philippines?
The Honda Click 125i is being offered in two variants – Standard and Special Edition. While the Standard variant of the Honda Click 125 is priced at PHP 81,400, the Special Edition version of the scooter can be had for PHP 83,900.
Which is the most value-for-money variant of the Honda Click 125i?
While both the variants of the Honda Click 125i come equipped with the same set of features, engine, suspension, brakes, wheels and tyres, both are differentiated only based on colour options and graphics. All the colours on offer for the Honda Click 125i exhibit vibrance with bold-looking body decals, though the Special Edition version looks more youthful and energetic with the choice of colours it gets. However, since the choice of colours is subjective and differs from person to person, one can either go with the Standard or Special Edition variant depending on the preferred colour choice.
What features does the Honda Click 125i get?
As mentioned above, both the variants of the Honda Click 125i are evenly matched when it comes to features and mechanicals on offer. Both the Standard and Special Edition variants of the Click 125i come with angular and sharp-looking body panels around, with their front aprons featuring sleek all-LED headlamps that are accompanied by boomerang-shaped clusters for daytime running LEDs and LED turn indicators.
The Honda Click 125i also comes with LED turn indicators and an LED tail lamp at the rear as standard for both variants. While the Standard variant has black-coloured alloy wheels and a pillion grab rail for all the colour choices, the Special Edition variant gets a unique matte brown shade for the alloy wheels and pillion grab rail in all its colour schemes. The Honda Click 125i also comes with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake along with a combined braking system, parking brake lock, full-LCD instrument console, USB charging port, key shutter mechanism and 18-litre under-seat storage compartment as standard.

While the engine of this premium 125cc scooter is well-tuned for both efficiency and performance, even the tyres – 90/80-14 front and 100/80-14 rear – deliver good grip levels and ensure consistent fuel efficiency over longer riding journeys.
How safe is the Honda Click 125i?
The Honda Click 125i might not be offered with premium and sophisticated safety features like ABS, traction control or riding modes, given its positioning as an affordable scooter for the masses. Should you buy the 2024 Honda Click 125i?
The Honda Click 125i bridges the gap between the entry-level 100-110cc scooters and more premium 150-160cc scooters with a streamlined and sharp design and an engine that is perfectly suited for both sporty riding and efficient commuting. While it is not too heavily equipped, for the price at which it is on sale, it offers good quality fit and finish levels, decent features, and robust mechanical components that feel like they are built to last.
What are my alternatives?
The prime Japanese rivals in the 125cc premium scooter category, to which the Honda Click 125i also belongs, are Suzuki Burgman Street and Yamaha Mio Gear. Compared to other 125cc scooters, the Suzuki Burgman Street offers a more premium and comfort-oriented maxi-scooter-themed design. The other 125cc scooters that also compete with the Honda Click 125i are the Yamaha Mio i 125, Kymco Super Z 150, Skygo Blink 125, Keeway SIP 125, and Benelli VZ 125i.
Other things to consider
While the Honda Click 125i might look sporty, the engine is not too performance-oriented. Those who wish to have performance that matches the sporty looks should stretch their budget beyond the 125cc scooter category and look for more premium and powerful options in the 150-160cc category. Apart from Honda’s Click 160, PCX160, and ADV160, there are more powerful 150-160cc scooters from established rivals like Yamaha, Suzuki, Kymco, Keeway, and Benelli.

Honda Click 125i Review 2024
Abhishek Katariya says
First launched only three years ago in 2015, the Honda Click 125i was no slouch, to begin with. It really brought the fight to the likes of Yamaha’s Mio range and the Suzuki Skydrive FI. And now there is an all-new version on our hands. Brand new styling, all LED lighting, and updated instruments only scratch the surface of everything new about this scooter. At a much more competitive price of Php 74900, it is also a much bigger threat to the tyranny of the Yamaha Mio range. But we are getting ahead of ourselves. Here is a detailed look at everything you can look forward to in a Honda showroom near you.

Honda Click 125i Design
Your first look at the 2018 Honda Click 125i is sure to raise a few eyebrows. Underneath the new more aggressive styling, however, is very much the same design. If anything the scooter has become smaller with a length of 1919 mm, width of 679 mm and height of 1062 mm. The 14” cast alloy wheels remain unchanged as do the 80/90 front and 90/90 rear tubeless tires. What has changed though is the front end. If the earlier clean design looked like a glossy sports car, the new design replaces it with a bold new LED position light setup that gives it an almost alien look. The dual keen LED headlights are still here but are largely overshadowed by the sculpted front apron. The rakish tail section is now, even more, striking with new details and bolder decals. The sharp taillight is now also LED as are the winkers mounted on the rear mudguard. There is a new and modern exhaust with an aluminum rectangular end but the stepped seat and the rear grab rail have stayed unchanged. There are new even more eye-catching colors thrown in the mix, ranging from subtle Anchor Gray Metallic to Fanta like Nitric Orange with Vivid Blue Metallic and Space Magenta Metallic making up the rest. The rider is also greeted by a new fully digital LCD display with blue backlighting and bold white letters. Showing real-time fuel consumption, battery and oil change indicator, trip meter and a digital clock, it is also very comprehensive. Under the seat is the same 18 L U-Box that can store a full face helmet.
Click 125i Ride & Handling
Telescopic front forks and unit swing suspension in the rear make up the Click 125i’s suspension setup. They provide a comfortable ride and easy maneuverability for filtering through traffic. The scooter only weighs 107 kg dry, which aids in its agility in a big way. The slim profile and 1280 mm wheelbase only adds to it. The low ground clearance of 132 mm, however, does cause some worry for potentially scraping the bottom of the scooter on rough terrain. The 769 mm seat height makes it usable for riders of all heights. The handlebars are slightly low but not enough to cause discomfort.
Honda Click 125i Engine & Fuel Consumption
Powering the 2018 Honda Click 125i is a 125cc liquid-cooled and fuel-injected SOHC engine. Peak power of 8.3 kW at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 10.8 Nm at 5500 rpm is unchanged from the previous model. Same goes for its refinement and reliability. As does the V belt automatic transmission. The engine is also equipped with the enhanced smart power system for optimal power delivery. Being liquid-cooled, there is no drop in power and performance even after long rides in hot weather. The ACG starter system allows silent jolt-free starts and reduces engine vibration. Like before, the Idle Stop-start system is still missing. But thanks to the PGM-Fi mapping, it easily delivers 53 kmpl.
Click 125i Braking & Safety
Like before the Honda Click 125i comes with a single hydraulic disc brake on the front and a mechanical leading-trailing drum brake on the rear. Honda’s Combi braking system makes an appearance here as well, deploying both the brakes on squeezing the right brake lever. This results in an optimal distribution of braking power and safe stops. The scooter also comes with a secure key shutter to keep it safe from thieves. There is also an additional parking brake that keeps it from being moved about when parked.
Honda Click 125i Verdict
When you consider all the new things about this scooter, it is hard to believe that it is now much cheaper than its predecessor. Honda has taken surgically precise strokes to this scooter and made it much better than it already was.
