Things we like in Click 150i

The first thing which is worth noticing in Honda Click 150i is the sharp and aggressive design language. For a premium commuter, the Honda Click 150i has a pointy nose and sharply designed body panels, which instantly give it a sporty essence even on a standstill.

For a commuter, the Honda Click 150i has an impressive list of premium features, which do give it an edge over other scooters in its class. Things like all-LED headlamps, tail lamps and turn indicators, all-digital instrument console, idling stop system, and keyless ignition are features which are usually present in a maxi scooter.

Powering the Honda Click 150i is a four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 150cc engine, which is easily one of the most powerful and advanced engines in its class. With a maximum power output of 13.2PS and a peak torque output of 13.4Nm, the Click 150i offers great performance levels for urban riding duties.

Things we don't like in Click 150i

The Honda Click 150i has large and sharply styled body panels, which do try to give it a beefy and big scooter look. However, the skinny tires rob off some of the muscle of the overall visual appeal.

The Honda Click 150i is a fairly large scooter as far as dimensions are concerned. However, the under-seat storage compartment of 18 litres could have been a bit bigger.

Honda Click 150i Review 2025

The 150cc scooter category in the country has seen the launch of some very advanced products in recent years. Joining these ranks is new for 2018, Honda Click 150i. Launched in 2015, it received a refresh in 2017 and yet there is now a thoroughly a new revised version. If the past is any indication, this scooter will incorporate many of the features that Honda’s customers have been asking for. Just off the top, we can see more aggressive styling, full LED lighting and digital instrumentation. There is also a new price – Php 95900 – that is an increase over its previous version. With tough competition from the likes of Yamaha Mio Aerox 155, is the updated Honda Click 150i any better suited to the competition? Let’s find out.

Honda Click 150i Design

The new design includes some cosmetic overhaul including large LED position lights flanking the front apron, giving it an almost extra-terrestrial look. The rest of the lights including the dual keen headlights from before and the indicators are also LED. The rest of the front is now more sculpted and aggressive than before. Moving back from side panels have a cleaner modular robotic design from the outgoing version’s overly sculpted design. The new color schemes additionally make it really stand out. The new generation gets a clean and mature look with no graphics and subdued colors like Matte Solar Red Metallic, Matte Crypton Silver Metallic, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Pearl Fadeless White. The only embellishments are the embossed chrome emblems on either sides of the rear section. The almost integrated rear grab rail and the stepped seat remained unchanged. There is, however, a new sportier LED taillight and indicators along with a sportier exhaust with a rectangular section aluminum end can. The Honda Click 150i is now slimmer and shorter with a height of 1919 mm, width of 679 mm and a height of 1062 mm. The 5-spoke black cast alloy wheels are the same albeit with a sportier design and wider 90/80 and 100/80 tubeless tires front and rear respectively. The under seat storage space is the same 18L and can still accommodate a full face helmet. But the instrument panel has undergone a massive overhaul and is now a fully digital blue backlit LCD screen with bold white lettering. Displaying everything from real-time fuel consumption, clock, warning light for lubricant levels and battery level.

Click 150i Ride & Handling

The suspension on the Honda Click 150i uses telescopic front forks and a rear unit swingarm. The ride is set for comfort and performs excellently on all kinds of road surfaces. But the low ground clearance of 132 mm can be a cause of worry on really bad roads. The seat height of 769 mm is easily manageable for most riders and there is enough space in the front footwell area for a comfortable seating position. The handlebars are positioned for a relaxed seating posture. The rear seat is high but at least the pillion riders get cool aluminum pillion steps. Tires are wide and provide good grip. The short wheelbase, slim profile, and a low 107 kg dry weight make it excellent for filtering through tight traffic.

Honda Click 150i Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Honda Click 150i’s engine is a 150 cc SOHC unit producing 13 hp at 8500 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The scooter gives spirited acceleration and can reach up to speeds of 110 kmph. More to the point, it is very refined and free of vibrations. Being liquid cooled it also performs continuously without overheating even after long operating times. It is also fuel injected and with Honda’s enhanced smart power ensures optimal power delivery. Honda has also equipped it with its Idling stop system to prevent unnecessary burning of fuel during idling. This gives it a great mileage figure of 52 kmpL.

Click 150i Braking & Safety

The 2018 Click 150i gets a new wavy hydraulic disc brake for the front and a leading trailing drum brake for the rear. Surprisingly, apart from the missing rear disc brake and ABS, it also does not get Honda’s combi braking system.  It does get decent theft protection in the form of the Smart Key System that incorporates a keyless lock and unlock, ignition on/off, Anti-Theft Alarm, and an Answer Back System all in one handy key fob.

Honda Click 150i Verdict

The Honda Click 150i may be slightly more expensive than its predecessor but it is also a much better-equipped scooter. Honda’s decision to upgrade the Click 150i is sure to be much appreciated by its prospective owners.
