Easily Handles Manila Floods
Oh man. I just had to share my experience with my XR. Typhoon Carina was rampant and I had to go home from my graveyard shift. Lo and behold knee deep around 19-20 inch floods all over McKinley and C5. I was the only motorist able to traverse through the floods easy. From rugged potholes to Manila Floods, the XR150's got you covered. Almost 1 year of use and I still have no regrets. Very light and agile, fuel efficient at 38kpl with just enough horse power to make you giggle through the empty streets. I highly recommend the XR150l as a touring and commuting bike.
DesignSeat height, exhaust height. Foot pegs could be better but I'm not complaining. Also handle bars could use a riser for my height
ComfortVery comfy, but my backseat partner says that the seat is ok.
PerformanceIt's perfect for Manila traffic. Everything is expected from a carburetor type bike.
SafetyIt's bare boned so the rider has to be skilled and disciplined enough to operate it safely.
Describe Modificationnot yet. But I may raise the handle bars and replace the footpegs
DealerSorry. Bought mine from Motortrade. It's an ok experience. I guess it's expected from motorcycle dealers nationwide
Road Trip ExperienceI love riding it on long ride. Vibration could be damped a bit as prolonged exposure affects my hands
