Is it a moped or an offroad motorcycle?

I was gifted this vehicle by a close friend and now I think it was a prank of some sort. I have tried to figure it out by myself but I still can’t seem to understand. The design resembles and offroader but somethings look like a moped. I am surprised as to how these two things came together in the minds of the manufacturer but this is certainly a cursed combination. I want to take it offroad, but if I don’t come back, please someone remember to blame the manufacturer because this vehicle definitely doesn’t feel very safe and solid.
