Keeway SuperLight 200

The Keeway SuperLight 200 comes with classic styling. Being a commuter, the bike gives a stunning look from all the angles. The bike comes with a Halogen type headlights at the front fascia, which is enough to ride in the low light conditions. Also, these are adjustable so that the rider can adjust it according to their requirements. Also, the bike features the indicator light and the bulb type taillight.

It has mono-shock suspension at the front and rear wheels. These give excellent control and also enhances the convenience in all road conditions.

It has a 14-litre fuel tank, which is pretty good to commute for long riding. The bike comes with a 16-inch wheel at the front, while the rear wheel measures 15-inch. The front wheel is wrapped in 110/90 tyres and the rear tyre size is 130/90.

The Keeway SuperLight 200 is a great motorcycle to commute with. The throttle response of the bike is quite good. However, the maximum power and peak torque come at a high rev-range. This commuter delivers good performance when the engine revs in the mid-range.

The Keeway SuperLight 200 comes with a single cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, liquid-cooled, OHV that delivers excellent performance while speeding up in the highways. The engine has a displacement of 197cc that churns out a maximum of 12.73 hp power coming at 7,550 rpm. While the peak torque is 14 Nm, which comes at a rev range of 6,000 rpm. It is the 5-speed manual gearbox that sends down the power to the wheels. The engine is quite good at the required assistance while riding through the cities.

As for the braking, the Keeway SuperLight 200 features disc brake at the front. Whereas, the rear wheel gets a drum brake. The braking combination can provide good stopping power. However, the bike does not have ABS (Anti-lock braking system).

Coming to the safety and security department, it comes with a pass switch only. However, the features like anti-theft alarm, shutter lock, side reflectors, traction control, etc are not available in the bike. Moreover, the bike comes with two different riding modes - Street and Road.

The two-wheeler has a seat height of 730mm, which makes riding comfortable for all types of riders. The riders with small height can also place their foot firmly on the ground. Its dry weight is 134 kilograms, which are pretty decent in its segment.

The Keeway SuperLight 200 is a great motorcycle in the Philippines market. It is a nice commuter that can provide good performance on highways too. The bike comes with classic styling and the braking of it, is quite good.

It comes with a price tag of around Php 88,000, while it still has to capture the attention of the customers. It gives competition to the rivals like Yamaha Sniper 150 2019, Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and Bristol BR 400i.
