The Best Bike for Long Rides
My little group of small bike enthusiasts started riding since 2011. Our very first was a mere Tarlac-Baguio one yet we're so exhausted that one of my riding buddy quips 'If this is a dream, I wish I could wake up". Months passed and we found ourselves ride even farther that within a few years we had roam all of Luzon with most places we had went twice, like Sagada which on our second ride we decided to go east and come down to Banaue. We also do a Baler ride twice because on our first, one of our buddy was absent. Our Infanta, Quezon was also done twice taking Marilaque and the other Pililla. Pagudpud was also done twice because we made the north loop on our second taking Appari first before heading west. What make us decide to settle for scooters was on our second Matnog ride when some of us were on Yamaha R3. One can imagine how hard it is to ride to the tip of Luzon from Tarlac and back on a sportbike with your backpack on. Shifting also is a hassle that we started to envy those who are riding scooters. It was 2017 and news are coming that Yamaha would release a 155cc Mio. I remember us going to dealer for reservation months later and wanting all in black but that was a thing that would never happen way back then. Three of us settled for blue ones. And it proved that Aerox indeed is a great bike that suits us. The looks of the Aerox is comparable to a sportbike yet you will be riding it in an upward body position which is great on long rides. The wide 110 front and 140 rear tires on 14 inches mag wheels make the bike run so stable that it can stand even strong winds. Well it's not a fast bike but some from us who are fuel consumption conscious are having their smile up their ears everytime we are refuelling. And the best thing with the Aerox? It is that all of your things are neatly stuffed under your seat that no one would know you are upto a long ride.
