Following the Ioniq 5, Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has added another offering to its range of smart and sustainable vehicles with the release of the Ioniq 6. It wraps its high-tech and high-efficiency in style, the same way the angular-looking Ioniq 5 crossover does, but the Ioniq 6 sedan wears a slinkier suit.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Dealerships, Prices, Variant

Any of the current authorized Hyundai EV dealers are now accepting reservations for the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Specifically in Hyundai Philippines’ outlets in Pasig, Alabang, Commonwealth, Makati, and Pampanga. The GLS 2WD Long Range model of the Ioniq 6 is available for P3.798 million.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Charging, Warranty

Filipino owners may expect a simple ownership experience, much to the Ioniq 5. A five-year or 200,000-kilometer car warranty and an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer battery warranty are included with every Ioniq 6 purchase.

The basic 7.4 kilowatts AC wall charger and periodic maintenance service (PMS) for five years or 75,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, are free.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Colors

For the exterior color, customers may select among Abyss Black Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Curated Silver Metallic, Gravity Gold Matte, Nocturne Gray Matte, Biophilic Blue Pearl, Digital Green Pearl and Ultimate Red Metallic. Whereas for the interior, the choice is between black or gray.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Exterior

The Ioniq 6, Hyundai's first mid-size sedan EV, features a stylish and practical design. A dynamic look is possible while still having plenty of interior space thanks to the roof's streamlined design and single, uninterrupted curve.

On top of the front bumper with active air flaps and air curtains, the front displays the brand's distinctive Parametric Pixel LED lighting. Two-color cladding, flush door handles, and 20-inch alloy wheels with high-performance tires have all been added to the side.

Rear combination lamps, high-mounted stop lamps, rear-reflectors, and backup lamps all have matching Parametric Pixel LEDs. The rear spoiler, on the other hand, stands out thanks to its mix of transparent materials.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Interior

The Ioniq 6's interior features a bridge-shaped center console and winglet-shaped dashboard for a more convenient and comfortable driving experience. Since it was constructed on the company's exclusive E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform), it was planned with space efficiency in mind in addition to safety. Flat floor construction allows for maximum internal space, particularly in second-row seats. A sliding glove box, large pocket spaces at the button-less, narrow doors, and an open-style tray are further elements of the storage system.

For greater visibility and simpler navigation, the 12.3-inch digital cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen have been combined into one screen. A more individualized voyage is made possible for both the driver and passengers by its redesigned Graphical User Interface, which won a Red Dot Design Award, and interactive LED lighting themes. The Ioniq 6's two zones, which are positioned at the door trims, can be changed separately, in contrast to other vehicles that simply switch colors when they are activated. Hyundai Ioniq 6 Convenience and Safety Tech

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 offers new driver-focused safety and convenience features in addition to increased ergonomics in the layout. The company is launching the e-ASD, or electric-active sound design. Users can improve their driving environment with synthetic noises and a 3-tier volume level, and it synchronizes with the vehicle's speed, motor torque, and accelerator pedal.

A Head-Up Display (HUD) has also been built into the windshield for enhanced convenience. For easier viewing and fewer distractions, it flashes all relevant driving information in high resolution. For improved comfort, this can also be altered based on the driver's height, driving position, and other physical characteristics. There are no blind spots thanks to the four wide-angle cameras that are positioned in the front, back, and sides. The Surround View Monitor (SVM) provides access to this for easier and more secure parking and driving.

Five USB ports are available to passengers, including one that facilitates data transfer for a variety of smart gadgets and a quick wireless charging pad with increased power. It offers Bluetooth multi-connection of up to two devices at once in addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Hyundai SmartSense, the brand's patented safety system, is a standard feature on all of its automobiles. The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, which helps you identify threats in front of you and instantly assists with emergency braking or avoidance steering, is available on the IONIQ 6. Additionally, there is the Forward, Side, and Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, which alerts you to obstacles as you park or exit and then automatically applies emergency braking if you do not take action despite the alarm.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Range, V2L

Similar to the 5, the Ioniq 6 has 400 volts and 800 volts multi-charging capability which supports V2L or Vehicle-To-Load which produces about 62 kWh of usable power. One difference is an outlet inside, at the bottom of the second-row seat, has been added. This can be utilized at the same time as the one on the outside, by the rear-right side of the door. This comes handy for appliances such as electric kettles and lamps needed on outdoor trips or a hairdryer and laptop on everyday travels.

The sedan boasts of the brand’s best EV range to date. The 2WD Long Range Model on 20-inch wheels runs for as much as 545 kilometers. Charging-wise from 10% to 80%, it takes only 18 minutes. With VESS (Virtual Engine Sound System), the status can be vocally announced to notify the user.

Unique to this model is the EV Performance Tune-Up which is a function that lets the driver adjust based on their preference. Modifications can be applied on steering force, motor output, accelerator pedal sensitivity and drive mode.
