Here are the VinFast VF 3's 9 energetic shades

Launched for the Philippines in September 2024, the VinFast VF 3 offers a lot to its prospective buyers despite its very compact size. 

For starters, it can function as a competent in-city daily driver thanks to its ability to cover 215 kilometers with a single full charge. Plus, it has a rather tall ground clearance of 191-millimeters, which enables the VinFast model to deal with potholes and bumps on thoroughfares like EDSA. 

Propelling the VF 3 is an electric motor generating up to 40 horsepower and 110 Newton-meters of torque. The said output doesn’t sound powerful, but remember that the vehicle tips the scales at a relatively light 857 kilograms. 

Plus, the model has a decent feature set, with its fabric seats, 10-inch touchscreen, anti-lock braking, traction control, and hill-start assist - among others. 

Lastly, it can be bought for a very accessible price of P645,000 with a battery subscription or P745,000 without a battery subscription. 

All of the aforementioned sounds well and good, but the VinFast VF 3 has a total of nine colors to choose from. So, the question now is: how do these colors affect the look and feel of the electric vehicle? Let’s find out here. 

Summer Yellow

Summer Yellow is arguably the signature color of the VinFast VF 3. Of course, it is one of the brightest options for the small EV as it provides a lot of personality for the vehicle. 

Additionally, the said color creates a good contrast against its black-colored exterior parts, namely the garnish on its grille, its front and rear bumpers, and its chunky fender flares. The bright color may likewise help the ride become more visible in low-light situations.

Iris Berry

Another lively color for the tiny EV nameplate is Iris Berry. For buyers who want to really stand out, this is the way to go since purple has become a rarity when it comes to factory vehicle color options. 

Granted, it is a bit more subdued compared to Summer Yellow, but it still brings out a hype and lively vibe to the adventurous-looking subcompact EV model. 

Rose Pink

Likewise, the Rose Pink color option is unique. Similar to the purple one, the said color isn’t a very common factory option for production vehicles, so if you want to make the VF 3 look unique, this hue is one way to do it. 

Rose Pink, as one would expect from the more feminine hue, would also make the car look more cuter than it is. Sure, it has some design elements of a sports utility vehicle, but the color will serve to showcase the diminutive size of the ride. 

Crimson Red

Equally as loud as the yellow color option is Crimson Red. Visually speaking, it makes the vehicle a lot easier to spot on the road. Additionally, it provides good contrast to the many black-colored parts of the EV unit as well. 

In other cars, red often times enhances the vehicle’s silhouette and lines to make it appear sportier than it is. In the case of the box-shaped VF 3, however, it makes it more solid or tougher-looking.

Aquatic Azure

Aquatic Azure is the kind of color to get if you want a calm and relaxed-looking ride. Sure, it isn’t as drab or subdued as the colors listed below, but the type of blue it uses may remind onlookers of the warm, shallow waters of a tropical beach. 

Electric Blue

Darker still, at least compared to Aquatic Azure, is Electric Blue. Per its name, the color is a nod to blue as the symbolic color of electric vehicles. Otherwise, it enhances the tough look of the ride, similar to the intensity of Crimson Red. 

Additionally, Electric Blue likewise evokes the image of the deep sea - an enduring representation of nature’s strength and stolidness. 

Urban Mint

Urban Mint is the type of color for the VF 3 for folks who want something quiet-looking but still eye-catching. Green, after all, isn’t too common a car color.

Otherwise, it provides a woodsy or outdoorsy feel to the ride. Despite the name, the said hue may even be reminiscent of the shade of green the military uses on many of its vehicles. 

Zenith Grey

Per its name, Zenith Grey is the one to get if you’re the type of car buyer who just wants a neutral, inoffensive car color. 

Even with its stand-out styling cues, the aforementioned color option will help the VinFast model blend in with other cars on local roads. Grey, after all, is a popular car color option. 

On the other hand, it doesn’t diminish the unique boxy appearance of the car. Grey cars, per many experienced car detailers, are also easy to maintain. Unlike white or black, it does a good job of hiding small scratches, paint perfections, and watermarks. 

Infinity Blanc

Of course, the VF 3 comes with a flat white color option, and it is called Infinity Blanc. Like the grey hue mentioned above, it is neutral, but it also makes the tiny EV unit easy on the eyes. The simple-looking color provides a good contrast with the black parts of the car. Plus, the tiny vehicle will be easier to spot as well. 

As mentioned, however, white can be a challenge to maintain. Due to its lightness, scratches, paint imperfections, or dings will be more apparent.

The VinFast VF 3 is a highly capable ride catering to folks wanting something that’s great at dealing with tight city streets. The aforementioned sounds mundane, but thankfully, the vehicle’s wide array of color options means that there’s a VF 3 for everyone. 

Serious would-be adopters of the VF 3, however, should see the vehicle in the metal first. Better yet, give the ride a thorough test drive before jumping the gun.
