The Audi XI of UEFA EURO 2016

The biggest European football carnival has begun a few days ago on the French land and football fanatics are kicked into a frenzy with this once in four years treat. Top 24 European nations are battling their guts out to be crowned as the ultimate champions of Europe. The event is flooded with football superstars or we should say ROCKSTARS, and the fans are eagerly waiting to watch them dribble, tackle and shoot on the lush green french fields.

The life of football superstars is often very glittering, flashy, eventful, and adventurous owing to the colossal wealth they accumulate from this super popular sport. This wealth is often displayed through their expensive lifestyle and the pricey possessions which they don’t fail to show off more often than never. Gigantic castle like homes, haute couture, lavish holidays, VVIP parties, expensive cars...the list is endless. You name it and they have it. Among all the above mentioned, owning premium cars is so common as if it is a mandate for a popular football player.

From the most expensive ones to the fastest ones. They have all kind of machines in their  parking space and from best of the makers. Wheels from Porsche, Bentley, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Ferrari etc. are proudly owned by these 90-yard superheroes.  It’s very obvious that their car collection is graced with multiple brands but interestingly our football studs have special love for the German automobile manufacturer. Yes! We are talking about "Audi" which seems to be a favourite player among our European soccer stars.  At Carbay, we have compiled an AUDI XI team of popular players who flash Audi cars in their car fleet.

And just to add, we are going in with a 4-4-2 formation in this lineup.

1.Goalkeeper -

Petr Čech -Czech Republic -  Audi R8

Symbolically identified by his black head gear, this Czech Goalkeeper is arguably the best in the business. Having played for Chelsea and now for arsenal in the English Premier League he poses a big obstacle in front of the goal and it's really a challenge even for the biggest strikers to get the ball in the net behind him. He drives an Audi R8 which definitely suits this Czech superstar.

2. Forward -

The Real Madrid forward and Portugal national player is one of the biggest celeb names in this sport. This crafty player is born to play and his skills are simply unmatched. With uncountable goals against his name, he forms the spearhead of the attack. He is as flamboyant off the field as he is on the field and has a huge collection of expensive cars. Audi R8, Audi Q7, and Audi RS6 are the Audi participants in his huge fleet of cars that he adores.

3. Forward -

Wayne Rooney - England - Audi RS6 Quattro, Audi Q7

This England and Manchester United striker need no introduction. His pace on the field, skills, and accuracy have been the key for the hundreds of goals he has scored. 4. Midfielder -

The Audi XI has some great names in the midfield department. Mesut Özil is a seasoned midfielder having played for clubs like Real Madrid and Arsenal. He is a German national and poses a big threat to the oppositions with his clever assisting techniques and knack of picking up acres of free spaces to synchronize the play. 5. Midfielder -

Thomas Müller - Germany - Audi Q5

Another prolific midfielder who can attack as well in situations where needed, Thomas Muller is a German national and plays for Bayern Munich football club. He is a very strong midfielder and played a pivotal role in Germany’s World Cup conquest in 2014. He scored 5 goals and grabbed the Silver Boot Award at the world event. Showing love towards his country’s best automaker, he drives an Audi Q5.

6. Midfielder -

Bastian Schweinsteiger - Germany - Audi S8

He has already shown how lethal he is in the opening game against Ukraine where he scored a goal within only a couple minutes on the field. He is a wonderful German national and Manchester United midfielder who was again a vital force in the German World Cup campaign in 2014. He is often seen driving his Audi S8.

7. Midfielder -

Eden Hazard - Belgium - Audi R8 V10 plus

A Belgian national, Hazard is a known face in the EPL and plays for the Blues (Chelsea) at the club level. He is swift and holds a reputation for producing great assists. He is equally swift on the roads as well with his Audi R8 V10 plus.

9. Defender -

David Alaba - Austria - Audi R8 GT

David Alaba is the youngest ever player to play for the Austrian national side and plays for Bayern Munich at the club level. He is a versatile player and plays multiple roles in the defense and midfield regions. The soon to turn 24 sports star is a rising sensation in the football arena and  rides a luxurious Audi R8 GT which ensures his entry in the Audi XI of Euro 2016.

10. Defender -

Sergio Ramos - Spain - Audi RS5

This Real Madrid (One of the biggest Football club) captain plays for the Spanish national side as a Central Defender and a Right Back. He has been part of the World Champion Spanish Squad in 2010 and the European champion squad in 2008 and 2012. He brings in a lot of experience and depth in the defense of a squad. He is often seen in his pricey coupe - Audi RS5 which he loves to show off.

11. Defender -

Gerard Piqué - Spain - Audi Q7

He surely is a known figure at the 'Camp Nou' where he plays as a central defender for FC Barcelona. This Spanish national team player is not less than a wall when it comes to defending and has lifted the UEFA Champions League two years in a row but with different teams. He is another addition to the list of Audi Q7 lovers and proudly owns one.
