Toyota Raize: comprehensive colors

Launched sometime in 2022, the Toyota Raize quickly became a staple in the country’s competitive crossover segment.

With a reasonable price, many car buyers immediately saw the potential of the Toyota Raize as a dependable daily driver that can answer the various motoring needs of Filipino motorists — whether for running errands or for going out on spur-of-the-moment weekend getaways.

On that note, we take a look at the seven available colors of the Toyota Raize to help those eyeing the nameplate choose from its comprehensive palette.

Red

The Toyota Raize looks feisty in this fiery red color.

Oftentimes, red is associated with passion and vigor — and these are traits the crossover lacks none of. Under the hood of the range-topping variant is a turbocharged one-liter gasoline engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which makes some 96 horses with 140 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

This allows the Toyota Raize to pack just the right amount of power for both city driving and when speeding through the expressways. The powerplant is spirited enough to provide a peppy drive that can make for a fun experience.

Silver Metallic

Silver is a color that is usually connected with modernity and technology. On that note, the features offered by the Toyota Raize can be considered passable — even for today’s standards.

At the center of the dashboard is a floating infotainment screen that measures nine inches. It has both Apple Carplay and Android Auto, which many of today’s tech-savvy car buyers as an essential function as it helps seamlessly integrate smartphone applications for entertainment and navigation.

In addition, the Toyota Raize has a convenient push-start system, paddle shifters (for top-of-the-line variant), and a seven-inch thin-film transistor instrument cluster.

Gray Metallic

Adding a dash of dark hue to the abovementioned silver, this gray color makes the Toyota Raize look like a dependable ride for many families with more demanding needs.

Supporting its underpinnings is a Mac Pherson strut setup at the front and a torsion beam arrangement at the rear. Likewise, its stopping power comes from ventilated disc brakes at the fore and drum brakes at the back.

Depending on the variant, the Toyota Raize will ride on either 16- or 17-inch wheels. Both of which are wrapped with chunky tires, which help absorb road imperfections and contribute to a more comfortable ride.

White Pearl, White Pearl with black roof

White is a color typically associated with safety in the automotive industry, and safety is a category where the Toyota Raize does not slack.

Its standard features include an anti-lock brake system, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist control, a rear camera (with guide lines), as well as clearance and back sensors.

Bolstering its suite of safety technologies are features like a blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, and a slew of airbags (driver, passenger, side, and curtain).

An option to get a two-tone finish with a black roof is also available. Car buyers can get it on the top-tier trim, like the other colors that come with a dark roof.

Turquoise Mica Metallic with black roof

Considered as the poster color for the Toyota Raize, Turquoise Mica Metallic gives the crossover a fresh look and a youthful character.

That said, some novel features can be found on the crossover like its fabric and synthetic upholstery with a Y-shaped pattern, some textured surfaces that house the gear shifter, and multi-functionnal controls on its three-spoke steering wheel.

Yellow with black roof

Like the previously mentioned turquoise-finished, the yellow-swathed Toyota Raize is unmissable — both on the road and in the parking lot.

Yellow is a color of warmth and energy, and this hue represents the powertrain of the lower grades, which still packs a punch despite not having a turbocharger.

On that note, the naturally aspirated engine has a displacement of 1.2 liters and is paired with either a CVT or a manual transmission. It produces approximately 86 horsepower with 113 Nm.
