The latest generation of the Toyota RAV4 is a big improvement over the previous one in many aspects. Toyota successfully managed to redesign the overall look and appearance of the RAV4 to make it more pleasing to the eyes, and appealing to the youth. Being a Toyota, its loaded with traits like ruggedness, reliability, and versatility. The RAV4 is a 5-seater compact crossover that promises to be designed for action. Apart from the usual safety features like seatbelts, airbags, ABS, VSC, and EBD, the Toyota RAV4 also has Hill-Climb Assist and Downhill Assist. These two features would really come in handy for an adventurer during those off-road trips. The Hill-Climb Assist will allow you to easily get on top of that steep inclination that you’ve been trying to defeat without any hiccups. For our market, it comes with a single engine option - a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol unit that has been tuned to give a power output of 180 PS at 6,000 revs and a peak torque of 233 Nm at 4,100 revs. Just like the engine, the option for the transmission is limited to a 6-speed automatic transmission with Super ECT. Even after being an automatic, it would not hinder in your adventure activities, as Toyota has fine-tuned it to perform brilliantly irrespective of the type of terrain.

Although there is only a single engine variant available with the RAV4, you do get an option of getting either a 4x2 or a 4x4 version. Obviously, for an adventure lover, the 4x4 version would be a better choice as it would allow you to cover those untraveled off-roads and prevent you from getting stuck while reaching there.
