11th PH EV Summit: AC Motors trims down pricing of BYD's local lineup
MANILA: BYD Philippines revealed the reduced pricing of its local offerings at the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.

BYD Philippines said that it will now use CCS 2 chargers for all its vehicles in the country.In his speech, AC Motors President Antonio Zara said that the BYD Dolphin is now priced at P1.398 million.
“The BYD Dolphin now is more affordable than a subcompact vehicle if you would consider the savings in fuel and the savings in maintenance,” he explained while sharing the new sticker price of the electric hatchback.
Further, Zara noted that the BYD Han and Tang are now priced at P3.113 million and P3.321 million, respectively.
Zara further excited eventgoers when he revealed that BYD vehicles in the Philippines will soon switch to Combined Charging System (CCS) 2 charging protocol.
He said that CCS 2 is a charging protocol not only recommended by the Philippine government but is a system that Ayala will implement as it expands its charging infrastructure.
During the first day of the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, BYD Philippines also teased the Atto3. The electric crossover will formally be launched in November.
