2018 BMW M5 has been launched in the Philippines

MANILA: The BMW M5 has now officially been introduced in the Philippines market. The all-new BMW M5 had made its debut nearly a year ago. The car is a blend of power, luxury, space and is internally known as the F90 M5.

The new-BMW has a sporty exterior and a special ducting for the intercooler as well as for the brakes. To enhance the aerodynamic stability of the car, an integrated diffuser on the back has also been installed.

The interior of this BMW sedan has seats crafted in leather trimmings along with sections that are finished in carbon fibre and gloss black. Thick bolsters on the front seats have been introduced in this car. Various other features have been introduced in this car including the upgraded iDrive infotainment system which comes with six different configurations. An all-wheel-drive system can be selected between 4WD, 4WD Sport, and 2WD. It also offers Stability control and Variable Damper Control.

The engine of the car is equipped with 4.4-litre Twin Power Turbo V8. The eight-cylinder motor mill produces 600 PS and 750 Nm of torque. The eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic allows the M5 to reach from 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds. The car can reach a top speed of 305 kmph, without the presence of a restrictor. Carbon Core chassis, carbon fibre roof and compound brakes have been installed in this BMW. This enabled BMW to shed approximately 90 kgs off this car.

This 2018 BMW M5 has been launched in the Philippines with a price of Php 14,790,000.
