2023 Wrangler High Tide and limited-run Jeep Beach models to debut at Jeep Beach Week

MANILA: Jeep is returning to the seaside for the 2023 model year with the Wrangler High Tide and Wrangler Jeep Beach special-edition models.

This year's Jeep Beach model celebrates the 20th anniversary of Jeep Beach at Daytona Beach, Florida, USA.

“Jeep Beach week in Daytona Beach, Florida, is one of the biggest Jeep vehicle events in America, bringing in more than 200,000 Jeep fans and 20,000 Jeep SUVs in 2022 alone. With the Wrangler High Tide and 20th anniversary Jeep Beach special editions, we get to celebrate our customers’ passion for beach-ready vehicles during this weeklong event,” Jeep North America Senior Vice President and Head Jim Morrison stated.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide is based on the Sport S model. Under its hood is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide comes with the Xtreme Recon Package, which includes 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires, 17-by-8-inch beadlock-capable wheels, 4.56 rear axle ratio, 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks, hinge-gate reinforcement by Mopar, jack spacer by Mopar, tire relocation kit by Mopar, and wheel flare extensions.

Other special-edition equipment include body-color hardtop, Sunrider Fliptop, LED headlamps and fog lamps, rock rails, sand/slush mats, and high tide hood decals.

500 Jeep Wrangler High Tide units will be built as exclusive Jeep Beach models, sporting exclusive Jeep Beach decals, swing gate plaque, shifter medallion, embroidered Mopar Katzkin leather seats, and standard body-color fenders.

The Jeep Wrangler High Tide and Jeep Beach models will come in six exterior colors: Hydro Blue, High Velocity, Black, Bright White, Punk’n and Sting Gray.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide is now available for order in the US with an MSRP of $51,540 (approximately P2.8 million). First deliveries will arrive in time for the Jeep Beach week on April 22 to 30.

Jeep Beach, a premier Jeep exclusive event, takes place every year in Daytona Beach. The event concludes with the world-famous Jeep Beach Parade, which features more than 3,500 Jeep vehicles. The objective of Jeep Beach is to raise funds for local and national charities, with more than $2.5 million donated to date.
