3 units of Land Rover Defender 75th Edition now available in PH

MANILA: Only three units of the 2023 Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition, a unique model that celebrates the 75th year of the auto marque, are being offered by local Land Rover distributor Coventry Motors Corp. for P11.690-million each.

The Series I was unveiled at the Amsterdam Motor Show in 1948. Land Rover celebrated its milestone with the Defender 75th Limited Edition in conjunction with this. The Defender 75th Limited Edition, which is available in 90 or 110 body types, has a specific exterior design concept with distinctive detailing and is painted in the classic Grasmere Green color with complementary wheels and interior finishes.

The exterior treatment adds Grasmere Green, a shade reserved only for the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition, to the Defender lineup for the first time, along with matching 20-inch alloy wheels. A distinctive 75 Years logo, Ceres Silver bumpers, and Privacy Glass round out the external upgrades. The Cross Car Beam has been finished in a brushed Grasmere Green Powder Coat, and the Cross Car Beam end caps have laser-etched details.

The Defender's robust and adaptable interior has got a similar treatment. The center console's hockey stick is made of Robustec, the strongest fabric offered by Defender, and the seats are coated in Resist Ebony.

The Limited Edition has extensive standard equipment and is based on the high-specification HSE. The 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, Head-Up Display, Meridian Sound System, Matrix LED front lighting, Configurable Terrain Response, Wireless Device Charger, and 3D Surround Camera are examples of cutting-edge technology.

In addition, all 75th Limited Edition models include a folding fabric roof or the choice of a sliding panoramic roof. For further comfort, there are 14-way heated electric memory seats for the driver and passenger, a heated steering wheel, and three-zone climate control. For further capability, adding an Electrically Deployable Tow Bar and All-Season tires is an option.

The D300 engine, a potent three-liter inline-six with 300 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, is the selected powertrain for the Philippine market.
