Aside from the iX M60, the BMW display will also feature the all-new i4 M50, M5 CS, M3 Competition, X5 xDrive40i, and X3 M40i.
The all-new i4 M50 is BMW’s first fully electric performance model, combining the Gran Coupe design with the rapid power delivery of BMW’s fifth-generation eDrive. Its best-in-class driving dynamics, long-distance comfort, sophisticated design, superior craftsmanship, state-of-the-art user interface, and advanced infotainment and driving assistance technologies make this zero-emission BMW the “Ultimate Driving Machine.”
The dual motor, all-wheel-drive i4 M50 generates a total system output of up to 536hp. It takes only 3.7 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 60mph. The EPA estimated range for the i4 M50 is 245 miles. The BMW i4 M50 carries a base MSRP of US$65,900.
The 2022 BMW M5 CS is the fastest and most powerful BMW ever produced. This limited-edition model is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology generating 627hp, and can accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 190mph when properly equipped.
Aside from its 10hp increase over the M5 Competition, the M5 CS also benefits from a weight reduction of 230 pounds and sharper chassis tuning. It is distinguished by the Gold Bronze finishes on the twin-kidney grille, badging, and 20-inch light alloy wheels.
The base MSRP for the M5 CS is US$142,000.
The BMW M3 Competition made its world debut in September 2020, marking the sixth generation of an icon. The M3 story began with the launch of the E30 in 1986. It was originally developed as a low-volume homologation special that would allow the M3 to join in Group A touring car racing. It is powered by a high-revving, naturally aspirated 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and features a distinctive motorsport-derived bodywork. The 2022 M3 Competition is now powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology generating 503hp and 479lb-ft of torque. With a quick-shifting M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, it can accelerate from a standstill to 60mph in 3.8 seconds.
While the original M3 was only available as a two-door coupe, the current M3 and M4 lineup comprises coupes, sedans, and convertibles with manual and automatic transmissions and rear- or all-wheel drive. The full range is now on sale, with the M3 Competition starting at US$73,000.
The fourth generation of the BMW X5 was unveiled in June 2018. The X5 xDrive40i combines a refined eight-speed Steptronic transmission and xDrive all-wheel drive with BMW’s legendary 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology. The driver-centric interior features premium materials, trims, and finishes, as well as the latest in BMW’s user interfaces – Live Cockpit Professional and iDrive 7. Clear graphics, lightning fast processing, and easy voice activation guarantee that the occupants get the most out of the X5’s comfort, safety, and infotainment features.
The 2022 X5 xDrive40i is now available for US$62,900.
The third generation of the iconic X3 gets a slew of significant upgrades and modifications for 2022. A new twin kidney grille, redesigned headlights, front and rear bumpers, exhaust trim, and rear lights are among the changes on the exterior. A new, bigger 12.3-inch central control display is included in the optional Live Cockpit Professional. The BMW iDrive controller and the new control island with gear selector, start/stop button, electric parking brake, hill descent control, and other driving experience functions are all housed in the center console.
The X3 M40i is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology generating 382hp and 369lb-ft of torque. As a result, the acceleration from a standstill to 60mph takes only 4.4 seconds. BMW’s 48-volt mild hybrid technology, which can recover kinetic energy lost during coasting and braking and store it in the battery, has been added to the B58 six-cylinder engine. Adding a surge of power for short periods of full acceleration, the technology substantially smooths the automatic engine start/stop function.
The full X3 lineup is currently on sale. For the X3 M40i, the pricing starts at US$57,800.
