All-new Toyota Avanza to be unveiled today

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is unveiling the all-new iteration of its popular compact multi-purpose vehicle today, March 7.

The country's top-selling automaker is inviting the public to go online to witness the official reveal of the Avanza at 6 p.m. on  TMP’s Facebook and YouTube accounts.

"See the well-known and well-loved MPV up close, and check out TMP’s reintroduction of a more sleek and active MPV featuring exciting new features and tech," said the company in a release, and added that there will be special announcements made during the program, and viewers will get a chance to win prizes through live online games.

The public is encouraged to register through this link to get reminders and updates about the Avanza launch. 

TMP is positioning the Avanza as a vehicle that will “redefine the family car anew." The firm added,  “With the continuous rise of the local demand for commercial vehicles (CVs) particularly versatile carriers for family use, Toyota Motor Philippines is once again set to reinvigorate the market with a full update of one of its most popular compact multi-purpose vehicles.”

Said TMP First Vice-President for Vehicle Sales Operations Sherwin Chualim, “Our mobility requirements are rapidly evolving, especially after the disruptions caused by the pandemic, but one thing remains constant: Filipinos will always need a reliable car that can offer ample, comfortable space for the family, including extended family members... This has always been the strength of the Avanza, but for this 2022 release, expect even more value-for-money features on top of its striking style upgrades inside and out.”
