Ansible Motion driving simulator bags 'British Engineering Excellence Award'

MANILA: Driving simulator developer Ansible Motion recently bagged the British Engineering Excellence Award (BEEAs). 

Judges from the UK’s engineering sector selected Ansible Motion's Delta series S3 driving simulator for the Engineered Product Award, according to a release. 

The new-for-2022 Ansible Motion Delta series S3 is "packed with performance enhancements to enable carmakers to do more testing, more safely and sustainably," the release claimed. 

Founded in 2009, Ansible Motion produces automotive simulators called Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) simulators. DIL is said to replicate vehicle motions, systems, and driving situations in order to create virtual worlds for drivers and product development engineers.

The product is said to have already attracted interest and orders from both the automotive and motorsport sectors, such as BMW Motorsport, Honda, Continental, and Deakin University in Australia.
