Astara PH welcomes Jun Cajayon as new brand head for GAC Motor

MANILA: Astara Philippines, the new distributor of GAC Motor in the country, has appointed Redentor “Jun” Cajayon as the Brand Head for GAC Motor Philippines.

Cajayon joins Astara Philippines with almost 30 years of extensive automotive-related sales, marketing, and network development experience. As the Brand Head for GAC Motor Philippines, he will be in charge of directing the market's strategic marketing direction, sales initiatives, and dealer network expansion.

“We have achieved significant milestones in our first year with Peugeot and we are confident that we will do the same for GAC Motor this year. Jun is a seasoned executive with an impressive track record, and we are happy to have him on board to drive GAC Motor to new heights through impactful marketing and sales campaigns,” Astara Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello said.

On January 18, GAC Motor Philippines will introduce the much anticipated All-New Empow and the All-New GS8 SUV, bringing the total number of nameplates in its lineup to five, including the current GS3, GS4, and GN6 models. To further expand its network reach across the country, GAC Motor Philippines plans to open new showroom and service facilities within the first quarter.
