BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo may go out of the league soon
MANILA: The new generation BMW 3 and 4 series feature six body styles in total, which will soon be trimmed down to 5 as the 3 Series Gran Turismo is to be shown the exit. It is reportedly on its way to being discontinued and get out of the race by the year 2020.
The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo was first introduced to the BMW admirers back in 2013. As per the reliable sources, who had a talk with BMWBLOG, it is believed that the Gran Turismo production will be ceased in July 2020 and the luxury auto-manufacturing company has no plan for a replacement. BMW apparently seems to gear its attention more to the next-generation 4 Series Gran Coupe, which might very well form the foundation of their next all-electric car.
The BMW 3 Series GT is available in the Philippines auto market in a wide range of engine and body trim options and is coupled with high-tech infotainment and connectivity specifications. BMW intended to equate fastback styling with the enormous boot space of a station wagon. The 3 Series Gran Turismo is a ride of choice for several Filipino BMW fanboys.
The external dimension of the vehicle measures more compared to that of the 3 Series sedan. The car sports an elegant look and features a spacious interior that ensures cosy long rides. BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo 320d Luxury is the variant hitting the roads in the Philippines and costs around P4,290,000 on an approximate basis.
It is being speculated that the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is going to bow out because the model is not doing as well as the German auto manufacturing company had expected. No reliable information pertaining to what will happen to the 3 Series GT is available currently, until and unless BMW officially announces it. If rumours are to be believed, the 3 Series GT could become the 4 Series GT.
