BMW 7-Series Officially Released in Philippines

MANILA: The German automaker has just put another luxury sedan on the charts for Filipinos fanatics. The all new BMW 7-Series luxurious sedan is now made available, as it is officially launched by the brand executives. The authorized local distributor of BMW cars, i.e. Asian Carmakers Corporation, revealed the 2016 7-Series in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The new-generation flagship sedan has made its first premiere during the Frankfurt Motor Show, which was held in the month of September 2015. At the time of launch, the BMW luxury sedan has astonished everyone as it had appeared with an amazingly designed performance sportscar, named BMW i8 which is now familiar with everyone.

The ACC President, Mr. Maricar Parco says, “Today, this sixth-generation BMW 7 Series has made yet another breakthrough by introducing new technologies such as carbon core that reduces overall weight by up to 130kg, and a full suite of innovations like Touch Command, Gesture control, Sky Lounge with Panorama Glass Roof, just to name a few.”

7 Series Sedan

Getting into the details of this lately launched luxurious sedan, it comes equipped with aesthetically designed interiors, elegant exteriors and power-packed features. The luxurious sedan is offered in two variants, i.e. BMW 740Li and BMW 750Li. For the 740Li, the power is driven by an all-aluminium 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo, inline 6-cylinder engine, that is tuned to churn out a maximum power 321 hp and achieves a peak torque of 450 Nm. The 740Li can reach 0-100 kmph in 5.6 seconds.

On the other hand, the BMW 750Li is powered by a bigger and better 4.4-litre TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that pumps out a maximum power and torque of 443 hp and 650Nm, respectively. As said, bigger is always better, the 750Li can make 0-100 kmph in as fast as 4.7 seconds.

Moreover, both the above-mentioned variants are entirely loaded with the next generation and futuristic technologies. Both the luxurious sedans come equipped with Executive Drive Pro, heads-up display, surround-view camera, anti-jam protection and Air Suspension with Dynamic Damper Control. And, above all, you will be greeted with the specially crafted BMW Display Key, which acts more like a smartphone for your BMW car. The icing over the cake has been done by installing the Samsung tablet for the passenger seats, which allows them to access several car controlling systems.

Another thing coming to your way is the hand gesture control system that functions on specific commands and allows you to adjust the audio volume, navigate the offered menus, answer or disconnect your call, etc. To offer an amazing entertaining ride, the German boffins have fitted a Blu-ray player and a Bower and Wilkins 1400 watts audio system in the 750Li variant, while the BMW 740Li comes with the Harmon kardon audio system.

7 Series Sedan Front

In order to design this luxurious sedan, the German boffins have taken their inspiration from the carbon fibre reinforced plastic used to build hybrid sports car, BMW i8. Derived from the very same, the flagship and luxurious sedan has been designed around a lightweight chassis, i.e. Carbon Core frame, mixed with aluminium and steel, that helps reducing its weight up to 130kg.

The legendary grille and the signature LED headlamps complements the front fascia of the cars. With an improved aerodynamic technology and optional laserlight, it can go as far as you can make it.

As of now, the German automaker has already dropped several well-famed models and their variants in the Philippines market. The firm is also planning to introduce another bombshell, i.e. the BMW 8-Series with some futuristic tweaks and tune-ups. Now, let's see when they will bring back the BMW 8-Series.

The all new BMW 7-Series price has been placed at PhP 12,490,000 for 750Li and the 740Li is available at PhP 8,890,000. Bookings are already being commenced by the authorized local dealership in Taguig.
