BYD Cars PH ready for Sealion 6 pre-orders

MANILA: Expressing its readiness for the formal launch this week, ACMobility has showcased its initial stock of BYD Sealion 6 for the local market.

Based on the photos shared, the Ayala-led electric vehicle (EV) distributor showed numerous units that are being turned over to dealerships in Quezon Avenue, Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Cebu, and Davao, along with other authorized BYD dealerships nationwide that are already operational.

In addition, BYD Cars Philippines has also officially opened the reservation books for the Sealion 6 and is inviting customers to pre-order prior to the formal launch on July 25 at the Glorietta Activity Center.

The BYD Sealion 6's image price starts at P1.6 million.

According to the company, the Sealion 6 is powered by the BYD Super DM-i Technology, which is said to be designed to attain driving ranges beyond 1,000 kilometers. Per BYD Cars Philippines, its target market is “those who aspire to enjoy the cost savings and benefits of all-electric driving while having the ability to travel over even greater distances than ever before.”

“The BYD Sealion 6 with Super DM-i technology will change the local automotive landscape,” BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca said.

“We encourage everyone to witness the introduction of the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i on July 25, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center,” he added.

Relatedly, the first BYD Tech Tour will also be held from July 26-28, 2024, at the same venue. It will include test drives and interactive displays about the latest innovations and technologies in BYD electric vehicles.
