Celebrate This Father’s Day Behind A Jaguar Wheel

A father-son relationship is definitely a very special bond. For some of us he is our best friend, for some he is the pillar of our life. The definition of this relationship might be different, but the context is pretty much the same - Love You DAD!!

Surely the dads do deserve a special treat on this Father’s Day which the world will celebrate on Sunday, June 19th. Jaguar along with Land Rover has come up with a unique and exciting idea to celebrate this Father’s Day. The duo is organising an outdoor event called Wheel and Grills which will allow all the Dads to get a vibe of driving these 3 scintillating Jaguar beauties - Jaguar XJ, XE, and F-TYPE. This is not it, they can also get behind the wheels of Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque. The organisers have designed a special metallic maze - terrapod to exhibit the off-road attributes of their Land Rover muscled cars.

Now, those of you who don’t really know about these cars, here’s a little sneak peek into the details of these cars.

Jaguar XJ :

The car made its global presence during the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September 2015. It’s a classy luxury sedan that boasts an array of features like heat reflective glass roof which filters UV Rays, superlight aluminum monocoque construction, adaptive dynamics, highly-intuitive infotainment system and all those stuff which suits a real JAG. Under the hood, it holds a 5.0-litre V8 550 supercharged petrol AWD engine with a peak torque of 680 Nm in the top variant. It’s a perfect combo of premium style and power packed performance.

Jaguar XE :

This compact luxury sports sedan is loaded with features like All Surface Progress Control (ASPC), Jaguar Drive Control, Intelligent Driveline Mechanics, torque vectoring, and Adaptive Surface Response (ASR) to name a few. Inside the car, it’s all comfort and luxurious with an elegantly stepped dashboard, posh seating material, Wi-Fi Hotspot and DSP supported 11 speakers with a sub-woofer. It's the first product of Jaguar-Land Rover combo which is based on an aluminum extensive architecture.

Jaguar F-TYPE :

Jaguar F-Type is an exceptionally well-designed car with high levels of performance. This powerful sports car is offered in 2 engine options - 3.0L V6 engine and 5.0L V8 gasoline engine which produce 450 Nm and 475 Nm torque respectively. Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, lightweight aluminum body, carbon ceramic matrix brakes, Intuitive visual controls, and Jaguar Incontrol are a few features to mention under the safety perks it has. The interior design is very much driver-oriented and has options to customize almost everything. The unique design and powerful under the hood components help this sports car to provide a breathtaking driving experience.

Land Rover Discovery Sport :

This compact SUV was recently updated with interior upgrades under the badge Land Rover Discovery Sport 2017. It flaunts a very sleek and aerodynamic design topped up with comfortable interiors that will let you stretch while the engine is also on its stretching revs. Its features also include Off-road Terrain Response, Driver Assist package, innovative emergency braking system supported by stereo camera, Advanced Park Assist, Land Rover Incontrol and many more. Land Rover’s performance has always been unquestionable and here as well it’s top notch in both gruesome conditions and extreme terrains.

Range Rover Evoque :

This award-winning compact SUV has a bundle of features like Land Rover Incontrol, Nine-Speed automatic transmission, tire pressure monitoring system, 360-degree parking camera etc. The top of the chart off-roading capabilities supported by Hill Descent System (HDS) and superior exterior & interior design of Evoque makes it a perfect ride in all terrains.
