Sporty family ferry
The exterior design of the 2025 Chevrolet Captiva makes it look more like a mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) than your run-off-the-mill family carrier.
Unlike most MPVs on the market with short bonnets, the said nameplate dons a long hood, which is fitted with a two-part grille with horizontal slats.
Flanking the latticework are LED daytime running lights, LED projector headlamps, side turn signals, and front fog lamps. A protruding chin gives it a strong character befitting the masculine-looking vehicle.
To its sides are SUV-like appointments such as blacked-out wheel arches, black door claddings, dark-hued pillars, black trims on the side mirrors (with repeaters), and a pair of silver roof rails.
A linear bodyline reinforces the staunch stance of the MPV while a set of 18-inch two-tone wheels wrapped with 215/60 series tires helps hammer down its sporty appeal.
Its rear gets a roof-mounted spoiler with an integrated brake lamp, a decent-sized glass, two LED taillamps, and a chunky bumper with reflectors set on its sides.
A hydraulically-assisted tailgate allows would-be owners access to the boot of the MPV, which has 117 liters of cargo volume. And while we are on the topic of cargo space, we have listed the luggage capacity of the 2025 Chevrolet Captiva based on how many seats are folded down:
