GAC Motor PH announces lower prices for 2023 Emkoo, now starts at P1.298-M

MANILA: The 2023 GAC Emkoo's new suggested retail price was released by GAC Motor Philippines. In honor of the company's fifth year in the nation, the price reduction is an expression of thanks from the automaker to its loyal patrons.

The Emkoo's new prices are P1.298 million for the GE variant and P1.498 million for the top-of-the-line GL model. Customers who reserved the Emkoo in April for the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) will also be subject to the revised retail price.

Test Drives for and Retail of Emkoo in GAC Motor Philippines’ Dealerships

To celebrate the debut of the 2023 GAC Emkoo and the beginning of retail sales, GAC Motor dealers around the nation will have special launches and test drives on the dates listed below.

• May 27 – Pasig.
• June 3 – Bacoor, Makati and Tarlac.
• June 10 – Cainta, E. Rodriguez, Pampanga and Quezon Avenue.
• June 16 – Davao.
• June 17 – Alabang, Manila Bay and Iloilo.
• July 30 – Batangas City, Butuan, Cebu and Lipa City.

The company's dealer network has experienced hypergrowth in the seven months since the brand's January relaunch, with the number of operating dealerships rising from four to 15 by the end of July.

“We remain committed to give all our customers unparalleled experience with not just our vehicles but more importantly through our dealerships. We are doing great progress towards expanding our nationwide presence to 20 dealers in 2023 to reach more customers from Luzon to Mindanao,” added Cajayon.

2023 GAC Emkoo

The brand’s compact crossover is distinguished by its “sharp feature lines, angular edges, and a dynamic stance,” GAC described. LED lights front and back accentuate the fastback shape of the 2023 GAC Emkoo.

As for in-car features, the GAC Emkoo comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay integration, power adjust settings and ventilation for front row seats, and configurable ambient lighting.

The GAC Emkoo is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine generating 177 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, paired with a quick-shifting, seven-speed wet Dual Clutch Transmission. The carmaker boasted that the motor “delivers a mileage of 16.1kpl, one of the lowest fuel consumption ratings among engines of the same displacement level.”
