Haval crossovers and Cannon pickup kickstart GWM's PH market arrival

MANILA: Recently, Luxuriant Automotive Group introduced the first models in its GWM series to the Philippine market.

The Haval H6 HEV, Haval Jolion, and GWM Cannon were unveiled. According to GWM Philippines, these vehicles are intended to provide customers with the most recent in technology, safety, and performance. Haval is the best-selling SUV brand in China, and the GWM Cannon, also known as the Po'er in China, has been the country's most popular pickup truck for the past 25 years.

2023 Haval H6 HEV

The highly-regarded H6 compact SUV now comes in a hybrid variant called the Haval H6 HEV. It has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 130 kW Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, producing a maximum of 240 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. The H6 HEV is the perfect vehicle for consumers who are concerned about the environment because it has excellent fuel efficiency and much fewer CO2 emissions. Additionally, it has cutting-edge features including the Level 2 Autonomous Driving System, Global High Intelligence Modular Architecture, and enhanced active and passive safety features.

The DHT Supreme and DHT Max variants of the Haval H6 HEV come at an initial price of P1,883,000 and P1,788,000, respectively. GWM wants to increase market accessibility for expensive HEV cars. The Haval H6 HEV versions are loaded with convenience and safety features that are uncommon in the market.

2023 Haval Jolion

The subcompact SUV Haval Jolion is available with both a hybrid and a conventional internal combustion engine. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and 115 kW dedicated hybrid powertrain used in the genuine hybrid model can generate a combined output of 186 Horsepower and 375 Nm of torque.

On the other side, the ICE version has a 1.5L turbocharged engine that produces 141 HP and 220 Nm of torque. It is suitable for young professionals and small families as it is designed for city driving and includes cutting-edge safety measures, such as a blind-spot monitoring system. Additionally, it includes the Level 2 Automated Driving System and the worldwide High Intelligence Modular Architecture from GWM.

The Haval Jolion is offered in four variations: HEV DHT Supreme, DCT Supreme, DCT Max, and DCT Plus. Their various introductory prices are highly appealing at P1,588,000, P1,248,000, P1,128,000, and P998,000.

2023 GWM Cannon

GWM developed the GWM Cannon pickup to provide its clients a balance of robustness and luxury. With a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that can produce up to 161 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, the GWM Cannon is a dependable workhorse. Its roomy cargo bed makes it ideal for any entrepreneur's utility needs. It has cutting-edge safety measures, like electronic stability control and hill-start assistance. Leather seats with embroidery in the shape of diamonds may be found in its opulent interior.

2023 GWM Cannon Prices

The GWM Cannon is available in three variants in 4x4 and 4x2 configurations. These retail at an introductory price that starts at P998,000 and tops at P1,498,000.
