Here is the Nissan Navara Black Edition 2

MANILA: A special edition of the Navara pickup has been launched in Thailand. And for a population that loves pickup trucks, the Nissan Navara Black Edition 2 is undoubtedly a delightful present by the Japanese automobile manufacturer.

The special edition Navara boasts some poppy accents both on the inside and outside complimented by numerous blacked-out styling elements.

For starters, the pickup gets a dark front grille along with black foglight bezels. Not only that, the side mirror caps, door handles, rear bumper, alloy wheels, and the running boards also come drenched in black. All these elements on the outside of the Navara Black Edition 2 provide the pickup with a muscular and mean look. The appealing exterior is then bolstered by orange accents on the side mirrors, running boards, and lower front grille.

'Black Edition' badging along with some striking graphics act as the cherry on the cake. If red, Burning Red to be specific, is not your favourite, the Nissan Navara Black Edition 2 is available in this shade along with White Pearl, Twilight Gray, and Black Star finishes. While the inside of the pickup is more or less the same,

the truck does get distinct black leather seats complemented by alternating orange mesh fabric and contrast stitching. There is also an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system adorned by Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, 360-degree around-view monitoring (AVM), and navigation.

The Nissan Navara Black Edition 2 gets is power from a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 163 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 403 Nm. Both the six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic transmission options are available. The low power figures are due to the fact that this is a de-tuned engine as the pickup here is a 4x2 model.

While the Filipino masses do have an option of a Nissan Navara Sport Edition which comes equipped with a different set of alloy wheels, a sport bar, leather trimmings, and a mesh front grille, wouldn’t it be amazing if Nissan Philippines also bring the Navara Black Edition 2 to the Philippine shores?
