Honda Cars PH reveals launch date, pricing of all-new HR-V

MANILA: The all-new Honda HR-V is set for its local launch on April 19, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced. 

On April 19 at 2 p.m., HCPI will broadcast the launch of the all-new HR-V through the Honda Cars Philippines Facebook page.

Starting April 1, 37 HCPI dealerships will open reservation books for the new crossover, HCPI added. 

The all-new HR-V will come in two variants — S CVT and Turbo V CVT — which will cost P1.3 and P1.6 million, respectively, HCPI said. 

The all-new HR-V will have two engine options: a 1.5-liter non-turbo engine for the base S variant and a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine for the range-topping V.

 

To help attain smooth and efficient performance, both powertrains are paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Both variants of the all-new HR-V will get Honda Sensing, bundled in which are the following safety features:

• Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)
• Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
• Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
• Auto High-Beam (AHB)
• Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)

Inside, among the highlights of the all-new HR-V is an automatic air conditioning system with air diffusion.

Exterior-wise, the crossover wears notable design cues such as rear door handles integrated on the C-pillar and unified taillights for a modern and sleek touch. 

There are four options for the all-new HR-V:

• Ignite Red Metallic
• Platinum White Pearl
• Premium Opal White Silver (V Turbo CVT only)
• Meteoroid Gray Metallic

White Pearl and Opal White Silver will add P20,000 to the vehicle's SRP.
