Hyundai develops new hydrogen city bus in partnership with Iveco Group
MANILA: Hyundai Motor Company and Iveco Group introduced the first Iveco Bus E-Way H2 at the Busword Trade Show 2023 held in Brussels, Belgium.

The Iveco Bus E-Way H2 has a driving range of 450 kilometers.The E-Way H2 is a 12-meter-long low-floor city bus that comes with a 310-kilowatt electric motor and an advanced fuel cell system developed by Hyundai Motor Group’s HTWO brand. A 69-kilowatt-hour battery pack made by Iveco Group’s FPT Industrial brand, along with four tanks with a combined hydrogen storage capacity of 7.8 kilograms, provide the bus a 450-kilometer driving range.
Both plug-in battery charging and hydrogen refueling are possible on the E-Way H2. This hybrid mid-power concept helps the on-board battery pack and fuel cell system attain their maximum efficiency and durability while also optimizing the charging of the bus.

The E-Way H2 will be manufactured at the Iveco Bus plants in France and Italy.
