MANILA: Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated (HMPH) has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Auto Artist Incorporated (AAI) in its roster.

The soon-to-rise facility is eyed to be completed by the third quarter of 2024.In a statement, the new partner opened a showroom in Palawan under Korean automaker’s local distributor and broke ground for a new full-fledged dealership.
AAI’s outlet under HMPH is located at the ground floor of Robinson’s Puerto Princesa. The 140.25-square-meter showroom features a two-car display, a media wall, a lounge for private consultations, an open area for additional seating, as well as a brochure table and configurator wall.

Aside from that, HMPH executives (led by its manager director Cecil Capacete) and AAI board of directors (spearheaded by company president Dennis Tan and chief operating officer Paul Elton Lao) conducted the groundbreaking rites for the upcoming Hyundai Palawan dealership.
Per HMPH, the aforementioned facility — which will open come third quarter of the year — forms part of its new expansion target of 46 dealerships.
“Our vision for this dealership goes beyond the physical structure that will soon rise from this very spot. In today’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape, we understand that our valued customers deserve more than just a place to purchase vehicles,” Tan said during the event.
“Today also reflects our commitment to progress and growth. It is a testament to the development and economic vitality of our city, as more global brands choose to invest in our community, creating jobs and stimulating economic activity. This speaks volumes about the potential and promise that our province holds. And we are thankful that Hyundai recognizes the beauty of Palawan, not just in its landscapes but in the spirit of its people,” he added.
HMPH said that the brand aims to be a contributor in Palawan (which serves as a model city for sustainable technologies and practices) by re-establishing its presence in the area and giving customers in Palawan a wider access to the brand’s new generation of models and high-quality aftersales services.
