Hyundai Motor Philippines has not yet revealed any plans in bringing in the 2023 Hyundai Accent. At the moment, the Hyundai Creta subcompact (starts at P1.048-M) is the most affordable offering from Hyundai. That makes sense, of course, given that crossovers and MPVs are currently the most popular vehicles among buyers of automobiles. But if Hyundai Motor Philippines were to introduce a new vehicle, it might be the Verna destined for India. The Accent, which was once available here, is another name for that compact car.

Unexpectedly, the Hyundai Accent's specifications have also been made public. Under the hood, according to Hyundai, there will be a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that may be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DCT. The 1.5-liter non-turbo gasoline engine will be paired with either an IVT or a six-speed stick shift as a second powertrain option.
Hyundai Accent in the Philippines
The previous generation Hyundai Accent (2018 to 2022) earned its niche in the small car market thanks to a sophisticated and contemporary style that encases a dependable and frugal powertrain. This Hyundai served as both a family vehicle and a TNVS vehicle. The Accent demanded showroom prices between P700,000 and P1,000,000 in exchange for a promise of reliable servicing.
Due to the segment's lack of other diesel engines, the Accent's 1.6-liter oil-burner with 126 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque stands out. Test results show that the mill can produce 29.4 kpl. There is a six-speed manual or automatic transmission option. The Accent's alternative engine, a 1.4-liter gasoline mill with 99 horsepower and 132 Nm of torque, is compatible with the same transmission options.
The Accent, positioned as basic transportation, offered everything its five people could possibly require. A 3.8-inch LCD display radio with Aux and USB connection, manual air conditioning with rear vents, and power windows kept the equipment list brief but tasty. The Accent had 15-inch steel wheels with wheel covers and halogen headlights outside.
