Isuzu Thailand teases new Mu-X

MANILA: Isuzu shall soon release the latest iteration the mu-X in Thailand.

The teaser video of the upcoming sport utility vehicle — posted over Isuzu Thailand’s official Youtube channel yesterday (June 6) — showed the phrases “Mu-X. The Next Peak. Coming Soon.”

As seen in the video, the midsize SUV seemed to have a new lighting signature at the fore and an RS badge which could be a new trim that will be offered in the Land of Smiles. Also, there are hints that the vehicle could be sporting sharper exterior aesthetics.

Not much details have been shared in the video but Zigwheels Philippines is guessing that the SUV will probably keep the 3.0-liter and 1.9-liter diesel powertrain options for the vehicle.

It will likely have a slew of advanced driver assistive technologies such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking as well as safety features like pedal misapplication mitigation, auto high beam, multi-collision brake, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and rear-cross traffic alert.

Will the Philippine market have it too? There’s a high chance, but we doubt that it would come within the year as Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) just gave the model an update last February.
