Land Rover PH rolls out iconic Defender 90

MANILA: Coventry Motors Corporation (CMC), the exclusive distributor of Land Rover vehicles, parts, and accessories in the Philippines, has officially launched the highly anticipated Defender 90.

The new Defender 90 is considered as the most capable Land Rover ever made as it features overpowering prowess, a short wheelbase, and minimal overhangs that enable exceptional off-road geometry.

The Land Rover Defender 90 is powered by an Ingenium D240 twin-turbocharged diesel engine coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with independent front and rear suspension with adaptive dynamics for improved comfort, exceptional all-terrain capabilities that let the driver select one of several modes to enable optimized performance on any surface, and best-in-class all-wheel drive system.

The Defender 90 features a new body architecture that provides ground clearance of 226mm and a maximum wading depth of 850mm. It also comes with a new Wade sensing system that allows the vehicle to safely cross deep water.

The vehicle is also equipped with an advanced ClearSight Ground View technology that assists the driver in taking the full advantage of Defender’s capability by showing the area usually hidden by the bonnet on the central touchscreen.

The cabin is equipped with Land Rover’s 10-inch Pivi Pro infotainment touchscreen display with a user-friendly system that requires fewer inputs to execute frequently used tasks. The touchscreen display also features an always-on design to provide almost instant responses.

CMC also offers four accessory packs for the new Defender 90. The Urban, Country, Adventure, and Explorer Packs give each Defender a unique character with a specially selected range of enhancements.

The pricing for the new Land Rover Defender 90 starts at P5.69 million.
