Lucena, Quezon to see GAC Philippines' 8th dealership in the country

MANILA: Following the automobile market took a nosedive due to the implementation of the TRAIN laws, the Philippine automobile industry is, slowly and steadily, gaining momentum once again. Many of the automakers like Foton, Kia, and others have already started witnessing growth in their sales figures, and the industry as a whole also saw a 10.3% year-on-year increase for November 2019.

Another automaker enjoying its time in the Philippines is GAC Motor. And, to build on the success, Legado Motors Inc. (LMI), the Chinese automaker's official distributor in the Philippines has signed another deal for the brand's 8th dealership in Lucena in the Quezon province. Legado Motors Inc. (LMI) signed the deal with Chris Marr Marketing Inc (CMMI), which is overseen by Christophere Chua.

GAC Motor Philippines already features dealerships in Pasig, Tarlac, Imus, Cebu, Las Pinas, Alabang, and Pampanga. As we mentioned before, the Lucena, Quezon dealership will be the brand's eighth in the country and should be up & running sooner than later. The agreement was signed in the presence of LMI Dealer Development Manager Maria Hilda San Juan, and Giovanni Frias, LMI vice president for Sales and Operations. Besides, the formalities were completed at GAC's Metrowalk showroom in Pasig.

"It’s a great start of 2020 for GAC Motor Philippines as we have successfully sealed another deal to expand our dealership in the province of Quezon. We are confident that through our vehicles’ world-class quality and exceptional performance, we will grow even bigger in just a few years’ time", stated San Juan, LMI Dealer Development Manager.

The Lucena dealership in the Quezon province will offer all of the GAC Motor vehicles including GM8 premium seven-seater minivan, GA4 and GA8 sedans, GS8 flagship SUV, GS4 compact crossover, and the fresh GS3 subcompact crossover. The newly-launched subcompact crossover is a true modern-day vehicle with the likes of LED tail lamps, floating-roof type design, roof-mounted rear spoiler, multifunction three-spoke steering wheel, instrument cluster with a MID, and an 8-in TFT infotainment system that features Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, and two engines options making 113 hp and 136 hp, respectively.
