Maserati showcases Levante Hybrid, other models at Shanghai Auto Show

MANILA: The world’s largest auto show recently reopened, where the Trident Brand unveiled the Levante Hybrid, Maserati’s first electrified SUV in its history. 

The MC20 super sports car also appeared at the Shanghai Auto Show, and Maserati held the world premiere of the F Tributo Special Edition. 

The new Nettuno engine and the complete range were also on display. The affinity for advancement of Maserati is highlighted by an area devoted to connectivity.

Moreover, another section is dedicated for the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program, showcasing the Futura, Unica, and Corsa collections. 

With the Chinese launch of the Levante Hybrid, Maserati takes a significant step forward toward its electrification approach, which started in 2020 with the Ghibli Hybrid.

The Levante Hybrid, which was deemed as “Faster. Greener. Unique,” is faster compared to a diesel, and more sustainable compared to gasoline or diesel, aside from being distinct in its specific features.

Furthermore, the Levante Hybrid is positioned as the “Maserati of SUVs,” including its sound, which despite hybrid propulsion, boasts the exceptional growl familiar to the brand's models.

Meanwhile, the F Tributo Special Edition, which is represented at the Shanghai Auto Show by the debut of Ghibli F Tributo, reflects the luxury and the stunning design of Maserati, influenced by a racing and motorsport heritage. 

The latest special series is available on Levante and Ghibli in two exclusive colors, namely Azzurro Tributo and Rosso Tributo. 

The exteriors are distinguished by contrast between the Azzurro or Rosso bodywork as well as the brake calipers and the yellow wheel trims. 

In order to complete the exterior design, Levante F Tributo is equipped with Anteo 21-inch wheels in Black and the Ghibli F Tributo with 21-inch wheels in glossy black Titanium.

Inside, the limited edition also complements the colors of the exterior details in the detailing of the Black full-grain “Pieno Fiore,” leather, which is in yellow or red depending on the color of the bodywork. 

The Maserati stand features an area that highlights that personalization has always been integral to the services that the auto brand provides to its customers. This is due to the new Maserati Fuoriserie program wherein Trident vehicles can now be customized to meet the preferences of each buyer. 

To assist customers in navigating the thousands of potential combinations, three collections, namely, Futura, Unica, and Corsa, have been produced.

Each of these collections demonstrate the strength of the brand as well as the values of innovation, luxury, and sportiness. 

Maserati Fuoriserie has been expanded to include more options on the Levante, Quattroporte, and Ghibli lineup, in line with the Shanghai Auto Show.

New exterior liveries and paints, as well as brake caliper and wheel colors, can now be availed, as well as specific cabin combinations with various interior configurations and stitching color schemes.

Furthermore, the Fuoriserie Program features the Maserati MC20. The program also allows buyers to personalize the exterior of their super sports car with a full range of liveries and colors from the Futura, Unica, and Corsa collections.
