Mercedes-AMG joins hands with Cigarette Racing for a special edition boat and G63

MANILA: One of the arrows in the Mercedes-Benz's three-pointed star has always portrayed the German automaker's desires of taking on the waves in the oceans. And for just that, it has come together with Cigarette Racing. The result, a special edition 59′ Tirranna AMG Edition boat, to no surprise, is simply amazing. Even at 59 feet (18 metres) long and 14 feet (4.3 metres) wide, the go-fast 59′ Tirranna AMG Edition boat is very lively thanks to the likes of the boat's superstructure, hardtop, stringer caps, and transom featuring a carbon fibre construction.

While the boat's exterior is finished in black metallic paint with a gold AMG diamond pattern, the upholstery, on the other hand, is done in macchiato beige and dark blue leather. Powering the 59' Tirranna AMG Edition boat is a set of six 4.6-litre supercharged V8 outboard engines by Mercury Racing. Also known as 450R, every single V8 motor here can churn out 450 hp of maximum power. With that understood, the total power output is as much as 2,700 hp. Courtesy of the ample power in its arsenal, the go-fast boat can do speeds of up to 129 kmph (80 miles).

The 59' Tirranna AMG Edition boat can suffice 29 people on the deck and also feautres a refrigerator, television, sofa, California king-sized bed, and a generously sized encased bathroom with a shower. Also, onboard is a summer kitchen that incorporates a grill, sink, and food preparation station, forward-facing and aft-facing lounges, seven-foot electric awning, and height-adjustable tables.

To cater to the entertainment needs, the 59' Tirranna AMG Edition boat gets a 29-speaker 5,200W sound system by JL Audio Marine. Moreover, there is also an iPad that is used to control the boat's lighting and air-conditioners, along with monitoring the bilge pumps. The process of docking is made easy by the presence of bow and stern thrusters.

Sporting a similar look with black metallic paint with a gold AMG diamond pattern, dark chrome grille, matte black bullbar & side steps, gloss black logos, Nappa leather upholstery, AMG Night Package, AMG Performance carbon fibre steering wheel, Cigarette-branded floor mats & grab handles, and 22-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels with gold-accented centre caps is a G 63. The special edition SUV goes along with the 59' Tirranna AMG Edition boat very well and forms a delightful combo.

Even though the SUV flaunts an appearance similar to the special edition boat, it retains the same mechanical setup that includes a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 generating 585 hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 850 Nm. The gearbox is also the same nine-speed AMG Speedshift Plus automatic with an all-wheel-drive setup. The G 63 can do a 0 to 100 run in just 4.5 seconds and is capable of going up to 240 kmph, which is almost the double of what the 59' Tirranna AMG Edition boat can do.
