MG PH introduces new MG 5 variant at media ride-and-drive in Bataan

MANILA: MG Philippines hosted “The Extraordinary 5 with MG Philippines” media ride-and-drive event last July 26 to 28 around Central Luzon.

Members of the local motoring media were invited to the immersive test drive event that showcased the MG 5’s driving capabilities, as well as the comfort and space that it offers.

During the event, MG Philippines also unveiled the newest variant of the MG 5, the Core Plus CVT. The MG 5 Core Plus CVT comes with upgraded tech features including a six-speaker system, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a reversing camera.

Just like the other MG 5 variants available in the country, the MG 5 Core Plus CVT comes with a 360-degree vehicle view, a power driver’s seat, cruise control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. It measures 4,601mm long and 1,788mm wide, and has a 2,680mm wheelbase and 512L of luggage space.

Every purchase of the MG Core Plus CVT comes with a five-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty, one-year free preventive maintenance service (PMS), and access to 24/7 emergency services.

The MG 5 Core Plus CVT is priced at  P738,888.  It is now available for a discounted price of P683,888 or a low down payment price of P63,000.

Participants were able to enjoy five extraordinary activities that further enhanced their MG 5 experience. These include an “Extraordinary Drive” with the MG 5 Sedan, “Extraordinary Filipino Cuisine” at Cafe Fleur by Chef Sau, “Extraordinary Heritage” at Mount Samal National Shrine, “Extraordinary R&R at La Jolla Luxury Resort, and “Extraordinary Destinations” at Batanes in Bagac, Bataan.
