MANILA: Morris Garages (MG) Philippines is readying to introduce the L7 to the local market, which will expand the brand’s IM luxury electric vehicle (EV) line — following the preview of the LS7 during the first half of 2024.

However, he said that the company has yet to announce its formal launch.

While waiting for MG Philippines to start the electrified model’s retail in the country, here are some bits of information about the IM L7.
The said luxury electrified sedan measures 5,108 millimeters (mm) long; 1,960 mm wide; and 1,485 mm tall — with a 3,100-mm wheelbase.
Its exterior boasts digital lighting projector headlights, interactive signal communication taillamps, frameless suction doors, Stardome panoramic glass roof, and ultra-high pixel car cameras.
Inside, the IM L7 wears a very futuristic design language with its unconventional steering wheel, elevated touchscreen at the center console, frameless entertainment screen (which spans the whole dashboard) mated to a 22-speaker setup, and certified fine-wood decoration from Lake Como.
Powering the IM L7 are the dual electric motors that can deliver up to 571 horses and 725 Newton-meters of torque. The all-wheel-drive mill is matched to a 100-kilowatt-hour battery that lets the vehicle cover as much as 615 kilometers (according to Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure).
Among its safety features are the Brembo four-piston front calipers, proactive vision supplement system, and active kinematics control.
The pricing of the vehicle might be at around P2.6-P3 million as the IM L7’s current price in China starts at $42,000 (approximately P2.451 million).
To recall, MG Philippines' first IM offering was the LS7, which was previewed at the Manila International Auto Show 2024. According to Avenido, the crossover's initial batch might arrive in the country within the year to hand over the units that were pre-ordered.
