Modellista gives the 2019 Toyota RAV4 new flavours

MANILA: SUVs and crossovers are all over the roads these days as the liking for the particular segment has been increasing leaps and bounds from some time now. In order to benefit from the trend, more and more manufacturers are loading their portfolios with SUVs and crossovers.

Not only that but aftermarket customisation shops along with in-house modification wings of many automobile manufacturers have been busy at work in order to make their offerings stand out.

In the quest of the same, Modellista, Toyota’s customisation wing has given the 2019 RAV4 a look to fall for. The modification comes in two different forms as there are two kits that have been developed by Modellista for the 2019 Toyota RAV4.

Talking about the first kit, Aero, it provides the SUV with a lower front apron, thanks to the expansion of the front bumper. We also see new LED DRLs at the bottom of the bumper.

There is quite a bit of polished metal adorning the front fascia of the SUV along with garnishes that have been mounted on the fenders. Looking from the sides, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 with the Aero kit gets ground-hugging side skirts and 19-inch alloys.

There is also a chrome strip on the side skirts which further enhances the overall appeal of the SUV. One downside of this kit is that it eats up a fair bit of the ground clearance.

In case you’re hungry for an even more seducing SUV, then the JAOS kit is what you want. Intended for more road usage than wandering on the unearthed trails, the JAOS kit brings with it a lower bumper bar, meaty front apron, and LED lights on either corner of the bumper.

There are LEDs even at the end of the hood. Thick side-skirts further provide the RAV4 with an even more muscular and menacing expression. Completing the looks of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 are black JAOS trims and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Both the kits are exclusive to Japan which is kind of a shame. With the success that the 2019 Toyota RAV4 has tasted around the globe and is set to receive in future, offering worldwide customer these kits will only strengthen Toyota’s business and increase the brand’s market and road presence. The 2019 Toyota RAV4 made its entry in the ASEAN market recently and we hope these kits make their way out of Japan sometime in future.
